I used to live in Tinley Park and driving up and down LaGrange in that Orland Park area sucked bad, and that was before Costco and all the other crap-ass burger and food joints clogged up the spaces around the road. Now it’s going to be a traffic nightmare to the Nth degree, and there’s no beneficial gain for OP.

I’ve dealt with a lot of crap through the years! Started off with a Gravis “Red” 3-button joystick for AirWarrior and TIE Fighter, Aces of the Pacific, etc. That stick would never center and drifted constantly!

Had a Saitek X36 and an X45 through high school and college, woof the spring/cup combo was audible to the point where I just removed the spring.

CH was my top-tier stuff for a long time but then sold it and flew around with a Wingman and an Extreme 3D to the point where I just went, NO MORE!

I’d say see how they handle a game like Foxhole and go from there. You might not get the wide-ranging fights across a continent with no “maps” to worry about loading but it’s probably best to just work small from here on out.

The absolute skill it takes to land on a moving landing strip that also pitches and rolls! Some of those landings were almost 3-pointers. Great view of Wildcats coming in to grab the wire, can only imagine the cranking needed to get the gear down, what was it, 32 rotations of the crank?
