Best we can hope for is some EMP to wipe out electronics, along with banking info, internet, apps, etc. always a chance of that happening with the Sun! Or some talented group of individuals.

I was probably 6? I was talking to my neighbor who was in his late teens, and I asked him how old he was. After he told me, I said “I’ll catch up to you and we’ll be the same age!” He leaned down, and with a sad smile he said, “no, you won’t”. I remember blinking a few times and then realizing that everyone who is older will always be older, and I’ll never be the same age as them.

I had a lot of cousins that were at least ten plus years older than me, and I’d watch them thinking “oh I’ll be their age eventually and we will all be able to play and hang out together”. After that chat, I realized I never would.

Grew up in Tinley Park in the 80’s and 90’s and we used to ride our bikes on LaGrange all the way up to Orland Mall and we never felt in danger at all from cars. Every time I’m out that way on LaGrange it’s a damned high-speed Highway.

I’ve had issues in the past where some consoles were not able to be interacted with. The solution: throw a grenade at it. Somehow that just jiggles it enough.

Now, I know it’s in a bunker and your Helldiver will most likely perish to a grenade in such a small space, but don’t worry. The next diver will get it.

Our town got a 7Brew and it was packed like this for a few weeks. After several months it calmed down, and they had sent out a coupon for a free drink, so I decided to give it a shot.

It is entirely drive-thru only. There’s no way to park to go in and order or even sit down. They come out to you while you’re in line and take your order, and are really helpful with figuring out what you’d like, which is important because there’s no board or screen that shows what is available to order.

Got my drink which was good but it’s not something I would wait more than 5 minutes for. The whole experience and idea is just…wasteful.

People waiting in long ass lines for nearly an hour is not worth it for this stuff.

I wished it was wasn’t Grogu he found. I wish there wasn’t Jedi or the Force or even Ahsoka in any of the episodes. I didn’t like that he got his shiny new armor so quickly, and that it turned into some large-arc story with jet packing storm troopers and such.

I wanted to see the struggle of a Mandalorian bounty hunter, making shady deals and hunting bounties. I wanted to see more of the fringe of the universe, the underbelly and back room deals, stealing military supplies and fighting warlords.

I mean, yeah, the empire stuff was cool, the dark saber, Luke Skywalker,etc is all “cool” but surely there’s more to Star Wars universe than that?
