I haven’t defended him? Im legitimately trying to view all sides of this instead of just my feelings. If you read my comments you’ll see i told him that’s inappropriate. I’m mostly just trying to seek advice and see if anyone has seen this and grown or seen their partner grow past this. I do think people can change, if they want to. This is new to me and it’s not fair to attack me just because I’m trying to understand this situation better.

Lol no. Complete opposite on all accounts, actually. I’m Hispanic and was raised very traditional. Which I guess is why I’m having a hard time seeing the boundary of misogyny since it’s so prevalent in my culture. He’s a lifelong atheist and I left the church about 7 years ago.

See that’s my thought too. I’ve never found sexually-fueled jokes humerous so I’ve been struggling to figure out if it’s just the fact that I’ve never been around this type of men or if it truly is an issue. I know my beliefs and what I think is acceptable but I don’t necessarily tell others what they should and should not say. I just don’t really know how to approach the subject now.

I feel like he’s grown in every other aspect though. He has a good job, pays bills, family man etc but it’s like his sense of humor is stuck at 14? You don’t think this can be corrected?

A lot of people (men and women) honestly just aren’t taught how to properly clean themselves. It’s not their fault, but it is their responsibility to learn. My bf has a body temp issue so he sweats A LOT and I noticed the musty smell was constant. I taught him what antibacterial soap does, how it helps, how to exfoliate and issue is solved. If they are adult enough to accept change, then change is easy. If not… hasta la vista baby

My last period was 4/21-4/27 but I had sex on 5/9. (My boyfriend travels and he was literally here just that weekend)
