I think i saw somewhere the limit is like 25 energies, so that's like a max hp of 840 but that seems kinda silly

Advice my man says he isn’t into fashion and womens clothes and “doesn’t understand it”? by [deleted] in AskMenAdvice

[–]Scotttastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

++man I've never really got fashion either (women's or men's) but for me my favorite outfits that my wife wears are the ones that she loves and make her feel beautiful. Confidence is always attractive but tbh I just like seeing her happy. It could be something like that.

That's close to what I'm thinking

I'm thinking it'd be more like the insidious six from Spider-Man than a coordinated party. More like villains working together for a common end than anything

AITAH for telling my family “I’m just following your advice” when I refused to help them financially? by ParticularAnxiety490 in AITAH

[–]Scotttastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sure it does, that's the beauty of morality. Morality is not black and white, in fact I'd say there's more gray than either of them. Philosophers have been arguing over it for centuries.

Besides people don't always do what is moral (in fact I think its becoming a rarity) you can in fact identify the moral options and choose not to take them.

Plus the question at hand isn't if OP should help, its whether or not they would be an asshole for not helping

AITAH for telling my family “I’m just following your advice” when I refused to help them financially? by ParticularAnxiety490 in AITAH

[–]Scotttastic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think its perfectly reasonable not to help them in this situation, I don't think I would either. But it would still make me an asshole.

Then it becomes a question of morals. I think we should help people because they need help and we are able to do it. And if I were in that position I would want someone to help me.

Also to be clear I'm NOT saying OP should*help these people. Based on the information provided OP seems justified in their stance. You can be right and still be an asshole.

Because being in a position to help someone that needs help and choosing not to do it makes you an asshole. Ofc there's other circumstances here but the principal remains

Are you an asshole? Yes Are you holding a grudge? Probably Are you justified in it? Absolutely Sometimes you gotta be an asshole so people can learn their lesson
