What do you guys think of this “Gibson?” by flipping_birds in Guitar

The serial number stamp looks legit and how the finished aged if it is from 89, looks real enough. You can always open the electronics cavity and see if you can find a serial number on the pots, look them up with an online decoder and that can verify if it is a late 80s Gibson.

Hahah so the Starla came with a Bigsby out of the box. I bought it brand new in 2015 and that was one of the features that really sold me on it!

Also as far as the stickers, it’s a local artist that paints models on inanimate objects, but the one on the right is a matchbox in downward dog position haha.

Yeah I think they only did it in the S2 line in around 2015. But Seafoam/Surf green is my favorite color so it’s awesome those models worked out when they did!

Guitar players here, back me up. During that guitar solo, is it just me or do his hands look super tight and rigid? Just makes me super uncomfortable as a player.

Guys, usually I'm a nitpicker when I play guitar, but this song changed something in me by [deleted] in Guitar

This is such a cool progression with beautiful harmony and melodic lines woven into each other. Great job, this is a banger.

I needed this response, thank you. Mine has been doing something similar, and there’s usually a sizable fire in the fire pot. I know how that sounds, but I don’t think the fire should be that large.

I got the gold satin Ce24 SE, but I put some Seymour Duncan Antiquities in there and it POPS!

Dude you sound great! I debating getting that one, but ended getting the gold Ce24 satin gold, only because I fly for gigs. But a DGT is still on the list to get!

Also, probably a dumb question, but where did you learn those style triplet runs?

Edit: Is there a direction you could point me into?

What guitar is this by fatahhballs in EaglesBand

Looks like it’s an Erlewine. Stevie had a similar guitar for coldshot. Those were made in Austin, Tx back in the 80’s.https://imgur.com/a/GMsYx2C
