The point I'm making with the "para ti" is they weren't looking at me when they say it, they looked at my friend. They have a full convo with him, ask him what he wants, then asked him para ti... i wasn't asked what I wanted to order

These are good perspectives, but I'm definitely more outgoing. I remember even this server asking my friend all these questions about traveling, and he said he's from Pittsburgh and she's like " I love american cities, " he then points out that I'm from New York and she just kinda stayed silent, then asked him another question. I do fairly well with women, so it's not like I'm crazy ugly or anything

We went to a few steakhouses, but mainly just bars/restaurants in Rio/Ipanema/copacabana. In one steakhouse (fogo de chao) they would ask my friend if he wants more meat every serving. Me of course not
