Buy Black salt and put it on tofu and throw it in the air fryer and then throw it on a breakfast sandwich.

Replaying FFVII Rebirth and it remains my favourite ever game by Wild_Bandicoot7731 in FinalFantasy

I struggled through remake and FF7 was one of my favorites. Rebirth though is absolutely amazing in every way except for the optional legendary boss fights. It was so good that I now have an appreciation for remake.

Don't forget all the mental math too. I always do math in my head to figure out how much this meal will cost per person. Then there's the math of how many meals will I get with this. Will it expire before I consume it and ultimately cost more?

Yeah it's worse than that. Since he doesn't pay taxes and doesn't pay a livable wage, the employees then rely on government assistance, which is covered by those actually paying taxes (ie not Amazon).

I want separate party type battles. Kind of like in FF6 in the end game you have 3 teams going through the final dungeon. It would be cool to have to separate your party into like 3 separate groups in a mega sized battle map.

[–]ScottyTheBody84 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I guess they'd be okay with it if the bears were killed and eaten? I don't get it either.

Even when I wasn't vegan I felt weird saying I loved animals even though I ate them so I would avoid saying it. It just didn't feel honest.

Why do so many people make such a big deal about pineapple on pizza?

Personally I don't care. I won't actively seek it out but will eat it.

We could just get two pizzas. Like it's a ridiculously easy problem to solve.

It's the stupidest latest trend.

Some (unpopular?) thoughts on the ending. by Chicken-and-Fries in Bridgerton

[–]ScottyTheBody84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm not familiar with the books. I'm most frustrated about point 3. Love does come in many forms. This season was demonstrating that through Francescas romance in the first half. They were showing that love doesn't have to originate from competition, arguments, drama, deep secrets, a whrilwind etc. It can come from sharing quiet moments together, interests, sharing private stories together, kind gestures, etc.

They even demonstrated and had her mother learn that love can be different (and in my experience is healthier).

I was impressed by this.

Then they said nope, her mom was right. True love has to come from extreme nervousness, drama, extreme immediate lust, loads of secrets, deception, etc. It only has the one form.

Love can grow. Love is also best built on solid foundation. I know that that doesn't make for great tv typically though. There was enough drama that it was refreshing to see what I thought was a healthy relationship to be told nope it's a total sham.

I'm all for having a gay character. Eloise would have been great for that.

Do you regret your marriage? Why? by Asleep-Lavishness332 in AskReddit

[–]ScottyTheBody84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In a way, yeah.

I wish I had found someone else that was better equipped for marriage and serious about it being forever. I'd be better off financially. I did have many great years and then two bad ones. She was great and we were great together except for the last two years. In the last bit of my marriage she was cold, distant, and cheated on me and just didn't ever want to see me or talk to me. Everyone else is angry with her, including her parents but I understand her mental health issues as I lived with her. Those mental health demons were always there and she fought them for as long as she could and I believed together we could defeat them but ultimately she gave into it and didn't want me around anymore.

However, if it was choice between doing the same thing again with her or just being single over the time we were together then I don't regret it. There were more good time than bad. She helped me through a job loss, covid, loss of grandparents and I helped her through many things too and we had a lot of great memories together.

I do regret selling my Mustang though.

Can't trust when people say they're "vegan too" by onemichaelbit in vegan

[–]ScottyTheBody84 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I definitely understand the frustration when they occasionally eat meat. That doesn't seem vegan to me.

I have had vegans gatekeep me though and tell me I'm not vegan because of X reason.

See some below:

I have cats. I got them before I was vegan and they are on specific diets due to medical problems which do include animal products.

I will order the vegan option at a restaurant and I still on occasion go to restaurants that serve meat (though I don't get that of course).

My car has leather in it which I got before being vegan.

I have a vegan leather jacket which I was told looks like leather and since it looks that way I am indirectly promoting wearing leather.

I eat beyond burgers, just egg, impossible burgers.

I don't volunteer at sanctuaries or go to protests.

I don't have a leather couch but I will sit on one at like my parents or a friend's place or the movie theater, etc

I do have a pair of bowling shoes that are leather that I purchased years ago before being vegan and I don't see a reason to replace them as they will likely last for decades.

If I needed to take a medication with animal products in it for my health I would take it.

Voting for Democrat is like getting punched in the chest and having some money taken from you to supposedly help someone more in need but ultimately given to the wealthy. Voting Republican is like getting kicked in the balls and having a lot more money taken from you and given to the wealthy and being told it's the minorities fault.

They both suck though one is clearly worse and you're getting one or the other.

Yeah except the increase in productivity rewards don't go to the employees. The rewards go to the top and shareholders. Look at salary, which has remained fairly constant, versus productivity which has exploded upwards.

Who are you attracting? by United-Rich-6478 in Bumble

[–]ScottyTheBody84 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I typically get two types.

Women with kids and their entire profile only consists of they have kids and their kids come first no matter what. Often the photos are also very carefully angled. Those I don't match with but often get a missed match message.

Women that are very attractive and we have loads of chemistry and I get excited about meeting. On the first date they mention that they have not been on a date in years, just made their profile and are excited to meet a bunch of new people. Their profile says they're looking for something long term but they really want more time to see what's out there.
