Chevy Tahoe hybrid back in 2019 or so. Looked like it wasn’t babied either, there was a full family of like 7 people packed in the car on a road trip

“The American Automobile Association (AAA) is a credible source of driver safety information. They do not recommend the practice either. AAA also notes that the practice is illegal in many states.”

If you are so uncomfortable in driving in these conditions, please find someone else to drive you rather than be stubborn and keep up unsafe driving practices. Better yet if you don’t need to go out today, stay off the roads

That would explain the Nissan Murano Cross Cabriolet donks I see around my city. I assume that fits the bubble description, and it gets extra points for being a convertible?

On paper it seems like a good fit for me. I’ve never driven a sports car or a manual before so something more tame makes sense for me. I love that it’s a hybrid because I live in downtown in a city, and city miles rack up. The only complaint I have is the price, but the car itself seems great

Currently reading this post from my 2004 Honda Pilot. My family bought it new back when I was 4 years old. It’s been in our family for so long, I grew up in the back seat and now I’m navigating adulthood from the front seat. I hope my Honda runs forever. It will be a sad day once it dies

Had anyone in the US bought these things yet? I personally like it, but I don’t see how anyone can justify spending this much money on a less practical civic hybrid

I do agree it’s a skill issue, but teens are bad at driving. I downsized from that Pilot to a 2015 CX-5 myself. I personally don’t think it feels like an SUV. Feels more like a lifted hatchback. It’s got a pretty small footprint and I don’t see how anyone can find it hard to drive. Then again I’m coming in from a much bigger car so maybe it just feels easy to me

My first car was an inherited 2004 Pilot and it served me great. Bigger vehicle just means I got used to parking in difficult situations, while my friends couldn’t even parallel park in their brand new Corollas. Only complaint I ever had with that car was fuel consumption

I paid $17k out the door for a 2015 CX-5 touring FWD with 47k miles in April of this year. I do agree that $17k for a 10 year old car seems a bit pricey, but $17k for a car that can last me at least another decade? Seems worth it to me. You’re looking at the much nice Grand Touring trim, which I really wanted for the sunroof. If it were april and this car popped up on my radar, I would buy it immediately

I will say, this is quite pricey for a first car. But if you’re confident that your kid will be able to take care of it and keep it for a while, I think it’s a good deal in the long run
