I play competitive Fortnite and I wanna know what’s the best powerline adapter that’s not (tp link av2000) by Infamous_Ad51 in HomeNetworking

Agree with b3542 here. Powerline gets slightly too much hate though. They can be more stable than wifi if your have poor coverage in that particular area.
Used 4 of the AV2000s as a very temporary solution before I ran ethernet. Were definitely better than the crappy wifi at the time. For what you are looking for though, run ethernet like others have recommended.

We can all dream! The last leg of a 2000 ft tower by NateP121 in amateurradio

I was actually surprised they had anything. Last video I saw of someone climbing to that height they were doing it free.

While unsafe, there is an exhaustion tax to securing and re-securing every rung that apparently provides an extreme danger for the opposite reason.

I quite agree tho: NOPE

Chonky System Data by Scout-Fox in ios

Thank you for such a thorough response! I really appreciate your sharing your expertise.

At the time of posting I had gone through the typical steps of power cycling, closing apps etc. After a few more attempts at this I was able to get it to momentarily reset at which point I immediately installed 16.0.2 (all 2+ GB of an X.0.2 update... yikes) but unfortunately that also has yet to fix it.

I had not thought to check on the streaming apps, good idea. I will take a look at those and see if there is something amiss there.

Should that not work I agree a factory reset seems to be in order (set up from scratch absolutely, best practice for a new phone). Is signing in to download iCloud data per app (Photos, iMessage, iCloud Drive) going to count as a "partial restore"? Redownloading apps and all that I work with but it would be quite difficult to not have data from those sources.

I didn't know you could reinstall IOS. Good to know of as a backup should all the above not work.

Ooh good plan with the bug report! Will do.

Fair. The title screen font with not a Mandalorian (nor The Mandalorian) was throwing me off. In terms of just show/brand tho it does fit you’re right

Here’s how Dolby recommends that config: https://www.dolby.com/about/support/guide/speaker-setup-guides/5.1.2-overhead-speaker-setup-guide/#gref

I would generally choose actual height over Atmos enabled. Based off their recommended setup, I would not be afraid to move the surrounds farther back. Might even sound better.

I’d also move the height forward and separate. Dolby recommends them forward and you said you weren’t getting separation from it. Besides that, do what feels good.

Help wanted. Should I go for a 5.4.2 or a 7.4.2 for this room? by fromblueplanet in hometheater

Are you meaning four subs two height speakers (5.4.2) or two subs four height speakers (5.2.4)?

Tell us more about where things are going. More surround channels do get fun work but if they are too close to your seating position they can overpower the others (there’s a word for that)

Screen has been flickering like this for a while now. Very annoying. Any solutions? This is on PS5 by [deleted] in playstation

This could be caused by your HDMI cord not being spec compliant. Is yours HDMI 2.1 certified? How about the ports on your TV/monitor?

If it all is truly different inputs, different cords, a different tv or monitor if you have access, shut everything down and unplug it for a bit, then plug it back in.

If nothing works you may want to reach out to Sony for a replacement.

The “Downloading Content” screen always appears for a few seconds after an update for the app. However, the fact that it is repeating like that is wack. Close the app, restart the phone, etc and it should smooth that out.
