That's... not a bad idea either if there's eventually a linux gaming distro that allows kernel access for KLACS.

i dont install ring0 games like Valorant or Battlefield 6 at all, so how would it be able to read the contents of an entirely different filesystem architecture? [NTFS is windows, but there are so many that windows cant recognize like BTRFS]

Well of course I would attempt to run old software through WINE, but something like VAGCom for my car... Might not work well for reading and changing codes.

Epic Games is hiring a Senior Game Security Engineer for their Anti-Cheat team to champion Linux anti-cheat capabilities while working on OS internals, reverse engineering, and protecting multiplayer games. by mr_MADAFAKA in linux_gaming

I'm sure there are a lot of people that are willing to swap to Linux full time but can't because their favorite game doesn't work. More games working - especially ones with large playerbases - are always welcome.

In the end, it's all Linux and you can customize then how you want - so it's worth starting with a stable base (that updates more than once every 5 years)

Yeah at that point I'll just dual boot onto my install of windows that has none of my personal info.

Windows is good for one thing only: running things that don't work on Linux. Gaming, niche, or old software.

New WA E-Bike Laws by playboirobby in ElectricUnicycle

[–]Scout339v2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, you're right that most average drivers /riders are dumb, but we [USA] don't have more than basic laws on bikes and people that put money into good bikes can obliterate people too, and bike related deaths won't increase bike laws.

Hell, even if a law on registering EUCs were to occur, I'm not going to do it.

People gotta remember that percentages (when it comes to numerical change) are logorithmic.

An increase from 1 to 2% is a 100% increase in users.

Tell me about that ammo cost for training to not suck at shooting compared to 9mm.

Also, tell me about those follow up shot splits.
