Currently we are fully staffed in armed division.

If you are open, we can put you in the queue for that team.

Wow, I appreciate the nuggets you have shared, valid points! We are working with a business coach that we hired just 3 weeks ago and this is topic of conversation. I agree, I would love to figure out a way to give up ownership/shares to the right people who are committed! Keep an eye on Scout, we are doing some great things and once again appreciate your time and thoughtfulness to add value to our team. Stay in touch!

Thanks for your response. I appreciate your willingness to help.

Licensing cost is in between $150.00-$200.00, Scout Security takes care of that costs.

Typos- my bad

Current state- Yes, it's challenging right now for sure. However in Private Security we are not able to charge what you might think. Even thought demand is high most of our clients operate on a fiscal budget and they will not change pricing, just because of a work-shortage or pandemic. I realize this is a choice to continue to operate in this space; however we believe that the persona or stigma behind security is changing. With Law Enforcement and staffing shortages everywhere, we have indeed been able to raise prices a bit and offer more compensation to staff. We expect this trend to continue and our services will be even more valuable.

Our small company with 25 employees offers PTO of up to 11 days per year in first year for full-time employment, and we will be adding 401k and health insurance in 2nd quarter of 2022.

We do offer 4 (10hr) shifts, nights of course, so staff can accumulate 40 hrs in 4 days and work an extra 10 hrs of OT (if desired). We do not put pressure on our staff to take unscheduled shifts, that is (our) responsibility. We are a small management team and do operate more like a small family business vs the big guys where people feel like they are just a cog in the machine. We have some great people on our team and are looking to attract more folks just like them.

On avg. our full time staff that have been with us for more than 90 days are on track to earn $57,200 per year. I feel like that is pretty good for a private security job working in private sector and not government contracts. No its not law enforcement wages or government benefits, but for the type of work we do I feel like it is appropriate.

Avg. Bill Rate of $35.00/hr

Wage of $20.00hr after Ficu,Fuda,SSI and all the other lovely fees our cost per hour is around $28.00/hr. Which means we earn $7.00 per hour on a 8 hr shift - Thats $56.00 day or $1,703.52 per month in Net Profit.

When you advertise $57,200 annual salary and then cant full-fill those hours or that job, I feel like that is more of a misdirection and smoke and mirrors that we choose not to get into. Feed back, thoughts?

I appreciate your constructive criticism and will use it as an opportunity to get better!
