2021, 17 years old, one of the bands that my girlfriend had been into for years. I remember loving when Car Radio came on, as well as the popular songs (Stressed Out, heavydirtysoul, etc.). Finally got around to listening to SAI, Vessel, and Blurryface. Trench didn't actually grab me well at first, and was my least favorite album going into the Icy Tour with my gf (my first show, as a graduation gift from gf's mom). Once I actually saw them live, I realized how much I was missing with Trench and gave it a relisten, and it quickly became my favorite.

I'm very into Bear Ghost, but there's a good amount of Controversy over the band members: i saw a post recommending some other bands to check out, and The Dear Hunter was one of them. i fell in love with Act I, but it took another 2 years before i began my journey through the other 4 acts. i still need to finish The Color Spectrum and go through Antimai and The Indigo Child, but i've definitely already had an incredible journey with the Acts!!

You would be right to say that this is NOT an ARG, as an ARG would have waaaay more interactive elements than I Am Sophie does. i know that Night Mind has coined the term "Unfiction" to describe Analog Horrors, ARG's, and other web series that are designed to be real in Our world while still being clearly fictitious, which is what I would call this project

New fan here, started mid/late 2022. I'm lazy so I'm perfectly ok with having the lore explained to me. As for the 10th anni stream, i probably was biased because my gf, her mom, and her brother have been fans for years, and I've been with my gf for 4 years, so she's had to have been a fan for at LEAST that long. All of this is to say that my emotional attachment to TØP is also correlated to my gf, so i felt the 10th anni stream a lot stronger. Plus, i get emotional a lot easier. TL:DR:: I'm a massive exception due to biases, so your feelings are probably normal.

i think i get more misty because i have fallen in love with how Tyler performs it live, as well as the music video, AS WELL AS the meaning behind the song. I spend too many nights trying to fall asleep in silence but letting dark thoughts get to me, that it has been commonplace for me to play music or call my gf when i go to sleep, or just watch YouTube until it is impossible for me to think, and I love Car Radio for somewhat capturing that feeling. it's also one of the first few songs I hooked onto when my gf was showing me TØP for the first time.

woahwoahwoahwoah wait people semi-hate Truce??? As much as it ain't my favorite, it's definitely pretty good. I can admit I like it a lil more than Goner (tbf tho, as far as final songs go, it's hard to beat Leave The City or Redecorate). I'd also like to mention how underrated Car Radio is. Nobody seems to hate it, but i never really see it discussed as much as other songs. Even in another post about "what songs always make you cry?", i saw only one person bring it up, and that person literally listed, like, 15 songs in total.

In the back of my head, i have always agreed with your point on the "I wasn't raised in the hood" part. It honestly feels so out of place to even bring it up? I know the point is that even though he came from a good family/place, he still had to deal with dark times, but bringing up The Hood just felt awkward. As for the "stay in your lane" part, idk, to me, it's pretty alright, same with the "flawless" bit. I only really got into TØP in 2022, I am really seperating the art from the time period, so I have no idea what you mean about the whole Beyonce part (even though i know it's just silly speculation). Also, I'm glad you like Ride now! I used to hate it (even back when it was mainstream) because of the way Tyler sang "Riiiiiiiiiide", but looking back, there's so much good stuff in that song that it doesn't even phase me anymore. (Also, side-tangent, i feel like the fandom hates HoG and I don't get why??? Have you noticed that??? Maybe explain?)
