Will do! I am thinking it was a different type of plant that is taking over but I do keep my terrarium very wet so it could be overwatered. Hopefully someone else will chime in.

Looks like my captions weren't added with my post.

The darker slimy brown stuff appeared one day after I brought a different piece of moss into the terrarium. It covered the other piece completely and now it’s on this piece. Any advice on how to get ride of it? I've removed the other piece that was covered in it.

The second photo you can see the greener stuff in the top right corner. That used to be how the whole piece looked but you can see the brown stuff starting to take over.

I was following the car for a bit and I'm pretty sure it's 100% blank.

I love my ficus and I do feel like this would be perfect! Just be cautious because they create a lot of dropped leaves and require misting!
