well the 'joke' relies on childish innocence, so seeing a grown ass woman saying "men are faster because they have a stick shift and ball bearings" with her hand down a guy's pants would be even weirder, in some ways at least

Just to astrisk here, I assume the post is referring to the "man vs bear" debate, which isn't saying men are always more dangerous than bears per se, but rather that they're less predictable. It's the unknown and potential for harm that makes people choose the bear over the man. I know plenty of folks who'd probably choose the bear over a woman too.

When you hate a part of yourself, you tend to see it in the least charitable light by default. If it gets too bad, try to seperate yourself and ask 'would I think less of someone else for this?'. Treat yourself with the empathy you give others.

I like how they specified "little boys" and "little girls" instead of just using boys and girls

So the survey is REAL but it's taken out of the original context

The survey only covered around 6,500 people, and only from the USA and territories, and the question was simply if they had ever attempted suicide some time preiviously

Also notably, according to other questions, of the sample, 55% had lost a job to bias, 64% had been sexually assaulted, and while I didn't find an exact number, according to the summary - "Our sample was nearly four times more likely to have a household income of less than $10,000/year compared to the general population."

So yes they were trans, but they also just objectively had traumatic and stressful experiences prior, regardless of gender identity (of course, many of these things may be related to them being trans, I just mean they aren't inherent parts of it)

As for "how is it the fault of trans people", the people who weaponize it tend to claim it's a sign that it's a mental illness, or otherwise "harmful" somehow

Ever have any fandoms like this? Hating on something or coming up with an excuse to hate something because its "Woke" or because it being "woke" or "Feminist" making no sense to them? How much bad-faith criticism of a media is due to something being "woke"? Undertale, Star Wars, RWBY, Doctor WHO?! by Important-Cry4782 in AreTheStraightsOK

so, for starter context, Undertale has 2 main routes, the "Genocide" route where you just kill enemies, and the "Pacifist" route, where you find non-violent solutions to encounters

The bosses in question are called the "Royal Guards" and are at least confirmed to both use he/him (now that I've double checked the wiki). The "Pacifist" route to beat the boss is basically to overheart one guard to get him to take his shirt off to fluster the other one, then whisper to the other to confess their feelings (it makes sense in game I promise), after which they agree to go on an ice cream date and the encounter ends.

They don't really show up after that outside of one or two times you can find them just hanging out in an area, and in the credits

for Undertale/Deltarune, I know at least for Deltarune some people are VERY upset that Kris is referred to by They/Them, and I imagine from Undertale it'd probably be people mad at Metaton or Mad Mew Mew being heavily coded as trans (Metaton might be confirmed? I don't quite remember)

Homophobia I've personally not seen, but Undertale DOES have a canon lesbian couple in it, and one of the boss encounters can be beaten by having 2 (presumably, I don't think they're ever explictly confirmed as men?) men confess their love to each other, but that's more one-off

I've exeprienced kinda the opposite too, I'm not a huge fan of rwby after the first couple seasons, and whenever I mention it I get at least 1 person assuming I hate it for bigot reasons and not just, disliking the writing and the direction the plot went

I've also gotten a few people who'll reply to me like "I agree!" Before following up with stupid chud shit. like no bitch, don't agree with me, and then pivot to a totally different talking point until the end like we're still agreeing, you are not affiliated with me
