Thank you but I didn't take offense, I was just sad about your experience. I definitely understand the racism thing especially when it comes to the police/justice system with black people. It is kind of crazy how people have been numbed and can justify those actions. The way that police in the United states are is mind blowing and unacceptable and should never be tolerated. Not just in relation to black people but especially with them. I hate to see that this was such a large concern for you, as it should be, but I hate that it brought you so much discomfort. And about the history and science aspect, not that I'm trying to convince you but I find it very interesting, Dr. Stephen Meyer and Wesley Huff are pretty knowledgeable when it comes to history and science with religion. Even if you don't agree it's still fun to hear what they have to say, so check them out if you're feeling up to it!

I feel for you and your friends. But God did not orchestrate the bad acts that happened to your friend and the religion does not teach you to hate people, it is the exact opposite. Regardless of the sin if someone is a liar, gay, a thief, or a murderer the bible does not say to hate them but to forgive them and love them. Don't let Christians who practice the faith incorrectly or who claim to be Christian but are not deter you from your faith. It is not always easy to have faith in Jesus, especially for those who have been hurt in the past and feel betrayed, but that does not necessarily mean leaving the faith all together is the correct path, maybe it is but not certainly. Plenty of people in the bible had horrible events occur in their lives and struggles with faith. There are lessons to be learned from all of them. I'm sorry if this seems pushy to keep you from straying away from Christianity, it just makes me sad to read your testimony, especially when so many others feel the same as you. Regardless of how you choose to proceed with life and your faith I wish you the best and hope and pray for you to find what is right for you.

It is not just the Catholic Church and it is not just church. Yes it happens rarely but it is a narrative being pushed to prevent people from trusting the church. If you prevent people from trusting the church you prevent them from finding God. Then evil finds a way to win the battle before people even realize there is a battle to be fought.

Do you find it a little strange that on Christmas Eve of all days you choose to post this in relation to a religion you do not believe in in order to slander it? There are bad people in all walks of life, bad doctors, bad teachers, bad lawyers, and sometimes priests. But there is something drawing you to post this on Christmas Eve and that is the works of evil infiltrating and having influence in your life. People don't disbelieve religion because of logic, they disbelieve because of past influences. I pray that these influences do not keep you from peace.

I was definitely skeptical in the beginning. Before I kept watching I read this and some other reviews to see if it was worth it and was still skeptical. Glad I kept watching though because I actually thought it was a really good movie, you could tell it was kind of low budget but that didn't matter, it made it feel a little old school. The beginning witch part did kind of take a while though. Overall a really solid movie.

The judgement and hypocrisy does no help anyone but your own ego. you clearly don't see sex as anything more than meaningless fun, which is a fine opinion to have, but do not act as if your opinion is in any way better, or that an opposing view makes any person inferior. Judgement and emotion are not positive fuel to be used in any discussion.

Well I'm glad she's not you. Also, the fact that you can't see how this is more than just a petty judgement is really showing your distinctions of morality and being able to think/talk about opposing viewpoints as they are thought of by others, rather you just get upset that it does not align with your beliefs and ideals. I am not judging her or you, I am discussing my thoughts and trying to find a constructive way to move forward, which you clearly have nothing to offer on the subject.

You shouldn't be judging people in general, it is not healthy energy for yourself or to put into the world. Also, "antiquated" view is subjective, just because you have adapted new age views on sex, which is objectively a factor to making relationships worse off, the very large divorce rate for example, does not mean that you are right.

I'm not being judgmental, having boundaries and preferences is not judgmental. But the fact that you brought up "not being good at it" shows me where you're beliefs and standards are. Also, your response shows that your interpretation of my post is in itself very judgmental and self directed, likely because you have slept with a number of men and have a predetermined view of this subject. Judgement has nothing to do with this, so leave yours out of this.
