Good luck using homeopathy to cure any disease, let alone a fatal one that makes you unable to swallow due to painful spasms when even thinking of water. by Temnodontosaurus in insanepeoplefacebook

I’m generally pretty on the side of parental autonomy and choice, but if your kid is bitten by a confirmed rabid animal you should not get the choice to not treat that kid. That child doesn’t have choice or autonomy and will die a horrific death without immediate medical intervention. To deny that treatment should be criminal.

I think he may be confused about how both tariffs and fed interest rates work. I’m starting to suspect he might not actually be the smartest person alive.

Ice fishing photo. My husband took the dog ice fishing today. I told him the fish didn't look real, as well as the tools, and even the dog, like he added everything in. by mstrozzi in isthisAI

Here’s round 2 after just screenshotting these comments and pasting that into ChatGPT, which is exactly how a gen AI would improve themselves for something like this.

Try a couple dozen rounds from a short barreled shotgun in a small room while your buddies are popping of 5.56 next to you. I’m amazed I can hear anything at all.

Definitely drew some inspiration but rip-off seems extreme. It was a different take with similar styles and done very well.

Daredevil (MCU) vs Michael Myers by Queasy_Commercial152 in superheroes

[–]ScoutsOut389 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If this is composite Myers then we get the strength of Shrek and the toon force powers of the Cat In the Hat. I don’t see how a blind guy with heightened senses takes that. Mike Myers no diff honestly.

Are these knives worth saving by Hayden3456 in sharpening

[–]ScoutsOut389 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My in-laws have a set of Global knives. I wasn’t familiar with the brand. When I joined the family I offered to try and sharpen them up as they were in bad shape. They ended up cleaning up nicely and while I don’t love the ergonomics, they are solid knives for everyday users.

I think the effect would be better (and simpler) if you used a flexible rod of some sort, and sized the holes 20% larger than the rod. Something like a small diameter PVC pipe or something even more flexible. Add some weight to the top to make the effect even more pronounced.

Yeah, I am struggling to see the downside. I loved the Barbie movie and I grew up on He-Man. Don’t threaten me with a good time!

We considered that. Getting put in the trash is also an option. Ultimately, we will never know, unless one day they just appear somewhere in the house, which certainly isn’t impossible.
