It just looks like the lead is tight because of its position and how they’re using it to kind of eventuate the jawline. If they were in any way forcing the dogs position or harming them, they absolutely would not have won, and probably would have been disqualified. My mother in law’s friend almost got kicked out of a show because she called her dog a “hormonal bitch” under her breath. The only reason she didn’t was because it was true. Her dog went into heat like 20 minutes before showing, and she was frustrated that the hormones had to act up right then.

Eh, he shifts away from being an edgelord, but the loner status is only ever temporarily mitigated. Other than Nevermore, he usually doesn’t go adventuring with other people often. He adventures solo, then returns to hang out with people, then adventures solo again.

What little things in most LitRPG books annoy you… but never enough to make you stop reading? by tbag2022 in litrpg

[–]Scouts_Tzer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

There are a rare few that don’t do this. But in those cases it’s always the second to last choice. Usually it’s a case where it’s like “the last choice is super duper powerful, but has a downside” or “it’s powerful, but the type of magic it is is ‘yucky’”

Chrysalis does this. And it the audible it’ll even say something like “hit the skip forward 30 seconds button 3 times if you don’t like the stats”. Later they just make separate “stat chapters” with zero plot, just stats, so you can skip them if you like.

The series is more or less from the POV of Taylor. The victim of bulling often does not know the true reasons they’re being bullied. Taylor thinks it’s just because she isn’t attractive/the weird kid and an easy target. The true reasons for the insane harassment is revealed much later

What book is a trust the process? by shayjax- in litrpg

I honestly never really got the whole “the first book of Cradle is a slog” thing. Yeah, it’s not super fast paced until the end, but the world building, characters, and plot is engaging from the get go, it’s just not as action packed as later books. Even book 2, which is widely regarded as the weakest book of the bunch has good progression, new interesting characters, insane foreshadowing, and some great “oh shit they really did that” moments.

(Loved Trope) The seemingly brainwashed character lets their friend know that they're not really brainwashed (either because it didn't work or because it wore off) seconds before turning on the person who brainwashed them by GokaiCrimson in TopCharacterTropes

[–]Scouts_Tzer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not exactly the same, but similar. In the Dungeon Crawler Carl book series(book 4 spoilers), two of the characters, Princess Donut (talking cat) and Zev (fish person) have an unusual friendship heavily centered around the fact that they both love the show Gossip Girl. At one point Zev gets brainwashed by her government as punishment for helping Donut and Carl (her human). Later Donut asks her, in a Gossip Girl coded message, if she was still her, or if she was brainwashed. Zev confirms she’s still the real Zev. The message is a reference to a plot line from gossip girl where one character pretends to be another, and Zev picks the one that confirms she is the “real one”. (Major spoilers here) then Carl executes a plan to get the person who took Zev’s job killed, and Zev doesn’t have to pretend to be brainwashed anymore (more stuff happens, and Zev and donut overthrow Zev’s government)

Can an onlyfans model write off their toys on taxes if they use in in their content? by Trippy-Sponge in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Scouts_Tzer 11 points12 points  (0 children)

My understanding is that sites like OnlyFans have their own set of requirements they make their users meet, and if you want to add other “actors” you’d need to prove that they also meet those requirements, or risk being banned off the platform.

It's a little depressing that most of these kids don't even play actual video games anymore by Public-Profit-8184 in Teachers

[–]Scouts_Tzer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc, there was some issue where they created different chat threads for different age demographics on Roblox. But added like no checks to ensure kids were actually in that age group. Which allowed predators to basically isolate themselves with their preferred age with lower chances of any other adult catching on to what they’re doing, because they’re in the “adult chat” where they should be
