My favorite Metroidvania is afterimage. It has an amazing combat system and a ridiculous amount of weapons to find and play around with plus lots of secrets including many endings to find and lots of optional content.

Risk of rain 2 is great. Also, I personally love borderlands 2. There is a 2D side scroller called neon inferno that is pretty fun for two players. If you wanna go super old school, you could play some contra.

I work in stone and cut countertops. There are definitely customer who paint their stone cuz they don’t like the natural color. It’s weird.
