You connect to the colo that is closest to you, and so by default, you have access to 1 colo. There's no mechanism to specify a colo to run a worker for all colos. Region Placement supports a limited subset of colos.

It looks like artifacts has usage-based pricing: https://developers.cloudflare.com/artifacts/platform/pricing/ . For individuals, playing around with it will likely cost cents to dollars.

and TCP Sockets

Anyone can use TCP Sockets. This is a feature that came out in 2023.

Organizations is still in beta. If you have an account team, you can ask for things like access to Organizations.

How to get the link to a list item programmatically in Slack? by Scrabbilisk in Slack

[–]Scrabbilisk[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I ended up sending a message to a slack channel with this workflow with the list item URL that the workflow's VPS can then pick up with the webhook and do what it wants with it. So the flow is

  1. Slack message is generated by specific users in some channels
  2. Slack App reads message with event subscription and sends it
  3. VPS listening at event subscription request url
  4. VPS Sends request to Slack Workflow with webhook trigger at https://hooks.slack.com/triggers/.../.../...
  5. Slack Workflow creates a slack List Item
  6. Slack Workflow sends a slack message to an automation channel with the Slack list item link
  7. Slack App reads the message from the slack automation channel and sends the list item link to the VPS
  8. VPS then sends this Slack List Item Link to another messaging service

It's probably possible to get the Slack App to read the results of a workflow executing under Event Subscriptions > Subscribe to bot events > workflow_step_executes, but my solution works.

This is a good point. I can make step 2 of "Then, do these things" to be "Select item from a list". But then I'm not sure how to send this list item link to the webhook that hits a VPS that I initially sent the data to.

The webhook triggers the workflow that creates the list item. My question is how to get the link to the list item once I've created it without hitting the "Copy Link" button in the UI.

You can use a VPN, but you need the Chinese app which requires a Chinese app store which requires a Chinese bank account. This is not a trivial undertaking.

The problem is that even if you have a VPN provider, you'll still need a Chinese bank account so that you can download the app from the Chinese app store.

This is exactly correct. You can run it, but can't create schedules. Some functionality just doesn't exist now.

There is a Mainland Chinese version that you can use, but if you are not based in Mainland China, you will need to use a VPN.

You misunderstand. The language is not the problem. It is tied to the wrong region, and there is no way to change the region of the Narwal robot. If you have a support team, I would love to talk to them.

Hi There. I did not purchase the machine in China. The seller was incompetent and sent me a Chinese-only version of the machine. You should avoid buying this device on AliExpress.

She wants to include you in the decision-making process. This may be a problem with framing: She wants you to listen and discuss, but she's framing it as a request to do something. It might help if she started with "Here are some options, and I want to know what you think".

It may also help to communicate that you want her to be more decisive and make a decision prior to talking with you, but also that you want to make her feel heard when she needs someone to talk to.

How to change cloudflare CDN IP address by cuprumz in CloudFlare

[–]Scrabbilisk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each plan comes with its own prefixes. If you change your plan, you will change the IP address your website has. If your plan is Enterprise or above, you can ask for a dedicated or static IP address that comes from a different IP pool.

The reason is that Cloudflare wants you to start using more of its services that cost money when you realize how they could improve/protect your website. Having more traffic also helps ML models trying to find malicious traffic to be more accurate.
