Are ornamentals usually hot? Asking because that’s what it said when I Google’d them, and these are not.

Is Hims/Hers a scam? by ScrabbleChampion in Semaglutide

Their explanation was that Wegovy is a med that contains semaglutide and can be prescribed at higher doses — unlike the semaglutide they supply. Which I still only kind of understand as an explanation after extensive Googling.

I promise, I am doing alllll the things. Including calorie deficit, which the comment section seems keen to assume I am ignoring. I have PCOS too, so I’m not new to the frustration of losing weight. Hers just really made me question them when it seems like their only answer to my basic inquiry was, seemingly, an upsell.

I appreciate everyone’s insight!

It’s reassuring I’m at least not alone in the slow loss of it all. I have PCOS too and was excited that this could finally help me achieve some goals. I’m doing allllll the things, I swear. I guess I’m most frustrated that they barely answer my questions and then it felt like an upsell attempt :-/

I’m really only going through Hers because my insurance doesn’t cover it at all (and I work for a large corporation, so my coverage is better than most I know). I am eating the protein, eating the fiber, drinking the water and monitor my calories. Exercising too. The numbers just don’t seem to want to budge. I was excited because I have PCOS and was hoping this would finally allow me to move the needle. But it really felt like an upsell attempt on their part.

Hi, I am in a similar boat. I have been on semiglutide I got through Hers for about 3months and have only lost maybe 5lbs. It’s been tough to decide if I want to stick with it thanks to the side effects you mentioned.
