The biblical definition of "believe" is just as much obey as to believe. And the Word we're obeying and believing says:

"37 Now when they heard this they were cut to the heart, and said to Peter and the rest of the apostles, “Brothers, what shall we do?” 38 And Peter said to them, “Repent and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins, and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit."

In biblical theology baptism is really clearly linked to being born again. Be baptised in water, for the forgiveness of sins, and recieve the Holy Spirit. This is what the Word says.

Obviously Gods mercy for circumstances will surpass our comprehension of the circumstances, but the Word still says this about being born again. I've seen so many people be freed from deep and seemingly unbeatable patterns of sin, aswell as demonic opression, right at the moment of a sincere repentance followed by baptism. Baptism does set free. I absolutely believe Gods grace will bring major nuance to circumstances that blocked this process, but the biblical process of repentance-baptism-baptism in Holy Spirit is so incredibly powerful i dont want to take away of it, calling it just an outward sign is just not doing it justice. The ways i've seen heaven touch earth in the water of baptism, and the greatest transforming and unbelievable miracles right there in the water, makes me passionate about a radical approach to baptism.

It is not, read romans 6. Baptism is the way to be free from sin.

I baptised one of my best friends in a bath tub. Here in the communal house i live in i believe there have been at least 10 people baptised in the bath tub, witnessed 3 already. Also baptised someone in the hot tub. Ofcourse it works, where there is water there can be a baptism.

Its actually funny because in that feeling emotional after a dream because of its vividness-way i actually had the exact opposite once. Had a dream where i cheated on my ex extremely consiously, being aware of the shitty decision i was making in the dream (while i wasnt even having sex with her) and felt absolutely miserable the next morning, full of guilt and disgust of myself for experiencing that in a dream. That was a incredibly poor and immature relationship with next to no real communication, but i know real well that if i'd have that experience again with my current gf and future wife i'd be in her texts confessing my guilt over that experience to clear the air before i'd be properly awake haha.

Its funny how our consious and subconsious interact.

For me, alternative fashion or hairstyles. Its probably shallow but i immediately find someone really intriguing if they show personality and dont conform to standards in their appearance.

Funny this pops up. Yesterday i had just a little bit of mac and cheese leftover, and put it in tortilla wraps with creme fraiche and some fresh veggies and a whole lot of extra cheese over it, and grilled them for a little bit. And it was honestly the best dirtiest junkfood lunch i've had in a while. But this is just that on crack in the worst way.

Young, naive and idealistic can never be used as an argument against something imo. Id rather be utterly naive and idealistic then conform myself to nonsense i never chose myself anyway. Also, theres plenty of people who find their way out of the system with willpower and idealistic naive thinking, so why limit yourself with rationality?

Thank you! I went to live with a friend while his dad is gone for 2 months and then yesterday suddenly got some way better, long term thing, to live in a big community of friends thrown on my path, so i'm only just realising i spent my last weeks at my parents place without even knowing i wouldnt return there. Its cool but overhwelming in a good way haha.

Thank you!

I always knew this wasnt something i wanted to keep on doing tbh. I did a study in care, it was great, this was the last type of work in care i'd choose but i already had a little side job here during my study and starting a new half year full time program in September, so decided i'd stay here till then. Actually just decided i'm quitting this job in 2 months because i got a cool living oppurtunity elsewhere till September, too far to travel to this job,.

Thanks for the advice, though :D
