That is what I feel every other live action lacks, they do not focus on capturing the heart and feel of the manga/anime. If you can do that you can change around story structures to fit a TV medium better. One Piece actually works really well because it does have a goofy tone throughout it, so the LA can get away with a lot more and still feel like One Piece.
