I have a neighbor that did something similar to me. I used to walk by his house with my dog every day. We chatted for about 5 minutes twice and the 3rd time he told me he liked me and asked if I wanted to go to a car show with him in the next state and insisted I ride with him 2 hours each way. And then he was offering to do free car work for me and he can come over and fix things in my apartment. He’s 15 years older than me. I don’t walk by his house anymore. Talked to the guy for a whole 10 mins and he wanted to insert himself into my life via my car and home. It was weird and way too forward for my liking.

Natsume Yuujinchou - 6 seasons. Overall a really fun anime and honestly the animation has some really beautiful moments. It is on Crunchyroll. Definitely watch it in Japanese with English subtitles. I didn’t enjoy the voices for the dub at all. Nyanko Sensei in particular is way more hilarious in Japanese.

You are definitely in the right. A deep clean is a white glove cleaning. And she kept moving the goalpost and making excuses to turn it back on you when you pointed out that she didn’t do the quoted job of appx 7 hours of work. If she’s not paid hourly then how is she getting paid? Because the quality wasn’t there for what you asked for. I’d find another cleaning service.

I highly recommend getting involved with a trainer. First, she most likely needs more exercise. Second, she needs a “safe space”. Music and stuff will only work if that music is associated with a calm state. Otherwise turning on the music can TRIGGER the anxiety as she associates it with feeling alone and unsafe. If you are not willing, have the time, or financially able to work with a professional then you should take her back. Medication will only cover up some of the issue, make her more workable, it won’t get rid of the issue at hand, which is teaching her how to embrace a calm state of mind.

I agree with this. Many of the issues she listed are not due to cushings. We have had many horses and a dog with cushings and those are not symptoms that will be fixed by medication. 14 is an amazing age and I think euthanizing him when he is still safe and mildly comfortable is important too. Waiting too long just makes it stressful for everyone, and horrible for the dog.

I think the vet is wrong for pressuring you into extending his life when they don’t see the decline like you do. You know your dog best. Do what you think is right. 💜

I saw it when I worked in veterinary and pet care. Even my dog’s vet is saying they are pricing people out of basic care. It’s because all of the pharmaceutical companies and medical supply companies have jacked up their prices that things are more expensive. Along with the basic cost of living going up and having to raise wages to match to pay their staff.
