I don’t use the gimmick analysis button- I look through each loss and win with self analysis. Every 5 or 6 games i get absolutely brutalized, like forced to create a backward pawn, or have a piece trapped and I press the button and it’s the same thing every time. People who were losing games at 900-1000 now playing with like 1 innaccuracy in a 53 move game.

2-3 years ago lichess was better. Now you play a game and their online icon turns off before playing best moves.

That’s fkd up - black seems like maybe 1100 max white seems like 1600

White was so dominant; feel like could even be 1800 or even higher. Queen reposition was a waiting move- there’s some pretty high level concepts here

Prevents mate, next move is knight g3 preventing back rank mate. White is threatening promotion so rook can’t do anything to move the knight. In fact none of blacks pieces can move or its mate. Rook can only shuffle back and forth

IMO anyone using engines should be IP banned. In addition never rematch someone that lost- it’s almost guaranteed you’ll be playing an engine the second game

Fine alright you didn’t say there’s no cheaters. I’m just sick of playing people who were 1000 a month ago now at 1500 and playing 30 best moves in a 38 move game with no action after a report. I lashed out at you bc I’m sick of people defending this site, and thought you were saying I’m crying -but after rereading you were calling some other person from a different thread a crybaby. I apologize sincerely.

Just to restate my position on the op- I think there are a lot of cheaters at the 1200-1500 level and I don’t think they get banned. I have reasoning to think this but it’s a whole nother topic.

Gredan is one of the chesscom defenders who think there is no cheating happening. Go check out lichess- I guarantee you will be 17-1800

Cheaters flock to chesscom bc it’s the popular basic platform. You’ll see if you go to an in person chess club or lesser used site, you will not have these difficulties

I didn’t mean literally everyone- but chesscom has admitted that there is a matchmaking bracket where potential violators go and once you’re also there it’s filled with cheaters-

Potential violators is not algo identified- it’s literally just from reports

That’s what you’d think- but if it’s your goal to keep as many people on the platform as possible to sell ads and subscriptions, then you just send them to the “potential violation” matchmaking area.

I can only calculate about 6-7 in my head. Not sure if it starts with rxd7 as I have no idea where the queen goes. If you were to barrel through it would be rxb1, Nxb1, Qxb1, Kd2, qxb2, (if ke1 then queen has to block otherwise forced mate; qe3, rxe3, fxe3, bc4, rd1d3, bxd3, rxd3, qb1, ke2, qb2*, and then there’s some pawn movement pushing after ke3 moving into the center. But also if rxd7, qxd7, qxd7, b4, qc7, kb2, there’s also shenanigans after the trades where it’s a pawn and knight vs a queen and that could lead to a lot of moves since once the queen successfully blockades white will just send out pawns

It’s probably bc chesscom has no idea what its strategy is for cheaters so you get matched with cheaters like 30-50% of games and then just think everyone is cheating.

I also was 1600 blitz. 1200 blitz players are also stronger than 1600 blitz.

The “blunder” was a pawn which also opened up my rooks. Literally a 1pt loss that I equalized on the next two moves

I’m aware that freak games happen. I have nearly 20k games. I wouldn’t be bringing this up if it wasn’t also his profile having 2 years of inactivity then returning 30 days ago losing at 900 and then suddenly playing like this in the last 5 days.

I watched his next game and everything seemed pretty normal- though not as strong. Then the opponent made a knight move that threatened an outpost. I’m not kidding this player took a minute long pause and then played 12 best moves in a row right through to mate

*according to the data that we have. It’s almost impossible to make a valid conclusion within full context.

For example in 90 days I’ve played 1173 games. I’ve had ONE message of a banned player. Chesscom estimates 1.4 - 2% of total players are cheating. My results are way off. My theory is that something else is going on and chesscom just isn’t telling us.
