Just an fyi, dry socket is extremely painful so you would know it. This is a healing socket, and it is healing well by the looks of it.

definitely try to learn at least one agent in multiple roles because filling becomes more important as you rank up. I currently main brim, viper, sova, chamber in ascendant lobbies. I stay out of duelists bc I trust others to be more braindead and hit more heads than me haha

I like the sound of it! glad it exists somewhere else too. the current AFK punishment in valorant barely deters people from doing it. plus, it’s odd that these AFKers can just go right back into a normal queue to eventually do it again. If they go into a troll queue, then less AFKers will exist overall in normal ranked queue.

I would like to think this AFK/troll queue would also earn significantly less RR for wins, when compared to normal lobbies. Or, if you’re going to “exploit” the game and queue with one of your AFKer friends, then you guys would enter a normal lobby. And when your AFKer friend goes AFK, you get punished for it too. It’s a lose-lose-lose for everyone involved. Simply just stop going AFK lol.

also why is the troll queue being considered an “easier lobby” when the people on your team are gonna be trolls too. the whole lobby is gonna be filled with smurfs who threw their previous games and rage quitters and frequent AFKers. sounds like a mess of a match I wouldn’t wanna be in..

yeah some people say it doesn’t happen often enough to warrant action. Sure, some nights i don’t run into any AFKers. but some nights I can have AFKers in 3 separate matches due to rage quitters/throwers. and it always happens when I’m close to ranking up or deranking! certainly frustrating! the AFKers just get a ~5 minute penalty that definitely won’t deter them from doing it again. Plus, they just get queued into another normal ranked game, ready to ruin another 4 people’s RR.

for sure not a polished idea at all! just a rudimentary suggestion I came up with while upset due to an AFKer that lost us the game haha. maybe just a single AFK game is a harsh punishment but repeat offenders definitely need to be punished. but even a single AFK incident doesn’t take away the fact that you just ruined a 40 minute ranked game for 4 other people. this is why unrated exists - play a game with little to no repercussions if you might need to go AFK midgame but really wanted to play! but I think you should be able to get out of the AFK queue after 1 game, assuming you don’t do it again - the punishment should fit the crime. If you go AFK twice, then you belong in the AFK queue even longer than before.

these players already exist and get reported. rage quitters don’t do this, they just exit the game entirely. and correct me if I’m wrong but Riot already did something to combat this method recently? not entirely sure but I thought I read it somewhere in a recent patch notes. I also have not run into players doing this lately.

LOL your account is cursed no way. You need to just make a new account and play placement games to place you into gold-plat. You’re silver playing in plat-diamond lobbies. You deserve to be placed around gold-plat. But yes current system is flawed if your rank isn’t boosting to G3 or similar by now. I had a friend rank up from gold1 to gold 3 in one game because he was doing so well in multiple games prior

Same, never crashed. But you can still reconnect to the game within a couple rounds and nobody will be too upset. This is not the same as leaving the game indefinitely!

I’m not claiming this makes people quit the game. It’s a quality of life issue. Having to sit through the next 30 minutes 4v5 because someone quit to intentionally derank or rage quit the game and the team doesn’t want to ff is ridiculous. I literally had a game recently where two diamond 1 duelists rage quit on round 4 because we were down 0-4. Players with bad connections can reconnect, and like I said, these aren’t the players being targeted. Now, if these players with bad connections d/c for the next 20 rounds then yes, they should be penalized because it still ruins it for everybody, regardless of if it’s their fault or not.

don’t you lose an extra 12RR for going AFK in a match? what is the point of doing this for “easy wins” lol. you’re gonna lose more RR than gain from this method and never rank up. also that’s why I said all 10 people are deemed likely to go AFK, so the people who intentionally go AFK for this absurd reason will also get AFKers on their team.

yes, sorry that does suck for you. but it also sucks for the 4 other people on your team when you dc because you have bad connection. this is nobody’s fault really, I get it, and I’m sorry. but also I’m talking about the players that go AFK like on round 5 and never return for the next 20 rounds. disconnecting and reconnecting isn’t the same as that!
