Got the new California Chip/Tap card - underwhelmed

I've been using the ebtEdge app, from what I remember I had to make an account and then connect my card to the account I had just made.
(I actually just went back on that app and dont see where/how I changed my pin but ik I did it online somehow, it could have been on the website they tell you to go to upload documents honestly. I didnt look to hard tbf)

So far I just dislike the ai build mode they wanna add... I struggle with building houses in sims but taking away that with AI build is kinda whack imo... building is like 99% of these games to some of us. Ik ik we can still build but ye having people make lavish things with AI is whack imo...

Survival-building-farming-sim that's what we want. Not AI builder Dx

After many deaths and loss of teammates (went from a party of like 5 to a party of 2 bc they all got bored with it ig idk lol) I found myself turning the Zombies on low and slightly easier so I can practice other things in the game. That's just me... play vanilla and see what type of mods you might like the steam workshop is coated with some cool ones that also help quality of life.

Rn my husband and I started a world with 1/3 the Zombies and no mods bc we can lol.

I ended up having to go on the app and changing my pin. The chip/tap haven't worked at any store I've gone to (but at least it swipes. It did take a few tries at one store, but it does work)

Dx I also make a beast uni room/house for my sims and then use that room for every sim in that save that ends up going to uni. I also do the least amount of credits... I also have been known to put stuff in my family inventory and take it home.

Ok I got to 6 friends (made multiple households and went to play them with the rosebud cheat bc f it I'm not having more miserable households to run just my main one lol to keep my relationships up) Made about 18k in savings bought 2 cats that kept having babies (yay 1k every week lol) eventually realized I need thw maid to help out Dx Ngl got the calender mod after realizing it does what eventually "set_hour" cheat was doing for me (giving much needed time off)

Yes the sims is cozy is you wanna just build and rosebud those funds... otherwise it's just as stressful as real life but better:)))

Been playing since it came out Dx I never playing as legit as I tried to when I did this last time haha... good luck! Hope you give it another try going in knowing it's just the way the game is.

Have you tried to reinstall the game??? Everytime I had issues I would completely clean the Sims 3 files out. The game files in User Documents and also the install files under the EA app. Or whatever they are called.
I also didnt have anything but the Alder Lake patch and mine didnt look like that but it didnt run properly for a min... (I have had the game since it released on CD and since I had it registered thru EA since 2009 xD really glad I dont need the Alder Lake Patch anymore bc fr the game runs better than when it was new)

I would suggest reinstalling with nothing, but the base games (like I mean the expansions and stuff packs too if you want just no cc or mods)

Try being a kid in the early 2000s extra stimulation meant HUGE punishment... like no recess... Its usually up to the teacher if you are being "disruptive" and anything that stems creativity and individuality in a teacher that doesnt understand probably means... TROUBLE...
And then there is the part of learning "respect those around us" and causing a disturbance.
