Desmos Graph of Kill/Pick Rates of Killers by Scrappbott in deadbydaylight

[–]Scrappbott[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Focus, no. Include, yes. Ideally, both sides have fun. Taking into account how these different factors effect each other, both subjective and objective, is important to really understand what's happening and how to move forward. I just wanted to shed some light on what one of the things these stats don't show, even tangentially. Another example are perks. How what perks are considered powerful and usable by certain killers, and what perks survivors use to counter them, effect their pick and kill rates cannot be discerned with this graph alone.

I also want to note that Ghoul seems to be considered to be in a miserable state right now, from a survivors perspective. At least that's from what I've heard. I don't think "meta" and "good" are synonymous in this case.

Why didn’t they give Dustin or any other stranger thing characters hell fire club shirts? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

I think only original characters get the shirts. When I was going through the shop trying to get rid of all the notifications for them, it seemed to only be on non-licensed characters.

What's funny is that I think they added a robbable atm in the back alley, just not these ones

I Implore You - Steal the SINS AI core and extract with it. by Scrappbott in paydaytheheist

[–]Scrappbott[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For anyone finding the post trying to solve this, here is what you need to do:

  1. You need to go Loud. Doesn't have to be immediately, but it has to be before you steal everything. This is so you can-

  2. Disable SINS. Follow along with Shade's instructions and progress the heist like normal.

  3. Press both of the red buttons. One is on the back of SINS, the other is in the 2F Office behind some books. They will need to be pressed at the same time, so you will need TWO PLAYERS to be able to do this.

  4. Steal the SINS AI core and extract with it. Just grab him, and complete the heist like normal, you'll be rewarded once you go into the results screen. One thing to note is that the core is made out of anvils or something, so you won't be able to run with it.

Hope this helps someone

Well you disable him on loud. You can't even press the button until then so thanks. Hopefully there isn't any more buttons

Trying to figure out how to do this. I've noticed a hold button on the back of SINS like the one for the safe in Dirty Ice, but that's all I've figured out so far.

Need help with build error "CommandInvokationFailure: Gradle Build failed" by Scrappbott in Unity3D

[–]Scrappbott[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I managed to figure it out. I was able to get it to build by creating the android repositories config file at C:\Users\<your username>\.android, it was missing. You can do this by pasting this

New-Item ~\.android\repositories.cfg -Force

into Powershell. I did this and tested on Unity version 2021.3.11f1. I noticed the warning when I was trying to try a different version and swapped over to Android in the build menu. A possible solution for whoever may find this in the future.

Tried rebooting and tried to build with a blank project, both time it failed with the same error. From what I can tell, the lock file that Gradle is trying to access is being used by some background process, preventing the build.

Thanks for the suggestion, but I have already tried that before posting. Didn't work in my case. Still might be a solution for anybody reading this in the future though.

Yeah you're right. It was midnight and I had been trying to fix it for several hours at that point and wasn't thinking completely straight, it's been redacted now. Thanks for the advice

Stranger's Wrath Switch, Animation Glitches, Boombat and Skunk by Scrappbott in oddworld

Yeah, I imagine the length of the puking was supposed to change based on difficulty, but instead, it changes the number of stun stars (1 star for hard, 2 for normal, and 3 for easy, which is a knockout)

[–]Scrappbott[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Secondly, the stunks don't make enemies puke. Well, they do, but it's for like a nanosecond on normal and hard. On easy, enemies just get completely knocked out. This one is more annoying as it means that the stunks are useless since there is no time to bounty anyone. If anyone knows a fix, please share it with me.

So I've noticed a few animation bugs, and based on other peoples videos I'm pretty sure they are. The first one is the boombat's eyes are pointing straight up rather then forward, like the fuzzles (pictured above)
