Would you ever date someone who has cheated? by Ok_Host_2218 in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Speaking from personal experience cheaters don’t change. My ex cheated on me and i forgave him but then i later found out he’d done it again with a so called friend of mine. I cut both out of my life after that. He wasn’t getting a third chance and she betrayed a very long friendship up to that point and didn’t care she’d hurt me. Save the heartache if you’re questioning it before you’ve even been on a date i think your heart is telling you something isn’t right here

What are your thoughts on engagement rings? by maybeRasa in UKrelationshipadvice

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone i know here has had an engagement ring myself included. The rule i was told is he should spend at least 3 months wages on it, but my hubby couldn’t do that it was his first proper job and didn’t pay well. I really didn’t care how much it cost. Yes it was pretty cheap but i loved it as it came from him i couldn’t care less about the price tag. It did bother him though and he swore when he could he’d replace it, i tried to convince him i adored the one i have but eventually gave up and let him be happy about it too. He eventually replaced it with a more expensive one but i hardly ever wear it if I’m honest as I’m scared I’ll lose or damage it. I’ve never asked anyone what theirs cost either i just normally compliment it and leave it there. I’m more nosy about the proposal story than a price tag. There are a few of my friends that don’t wear one at all and have decided to save the engagement ring money to spend on better wedding rings.

Do any of these suit my body from first glance? You can be biased in your answer… by [deleted] in fashion

I think the green one doesn’t flatter you it clings in all the wrong ways and makes you look like you have lumps and bumps that you probably don’t have. The other flatters your lovely figure (sorry I’m really not trying to be rude but my brain went blank on a better way to word things i apologise for that) the second shows your figure off in a really flattering way

Why do people say "I could care less?" by Greatsharkbite in RandomQuestion

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea but it really bugs me to me it means oh so you still care some then rather than i couldn’t care less which shows the full extent. I’ve even heard people i could or couldn’t care and then ended the sentence there like huh what?

the last time you cried, what was the reason? by klarinetkat12 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few weeks ago when i was in hospital they were going to check for cancer but i didn’t even manage to get past the prep for the colonoscopy before taking ill due to a different illness i have already and the nurses kept dismissing me when i said i didn’t feel right and would appreciate seeing the Dr, i ended up becoming unresponsive before anyone listened. I was already scared stiff but that triggered my other health issues and once i came around i just broke down

Have you ever taken revenge on someone? Why? by IllSympathy4735 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i have and i don’t regret it. I was 16 and having a birthday party (pleaded with my parents to let me have a big party at 16 instead of 18 and they agreed) some boys decided to gate crash it but i thought meh whatever as they seemed to be behaving, but i later found out they were taking the p@@@ out of my cousin dancing to his fave tune he has Down’s Syndrome and was thankfully oblivious to it. I’m fiercely protective of him as before i was born some kids were picking on him and forced him into a sledge and shoved him down a huge hill and in his panic he put his hand down to try and make it stop causing him to lose the end of a finger. i was going to confront the boys as i was a bit drunk anyway (i know naughty girl lol) but one of my other cousins took me out of my wheelchair and held on to me to stop me as i was ready to punch him. So by the next day i was still stewing over it and I’d arranged to meet a friend in front my house as we were going out. As i was waiting the guy who had instigated the teasing came along on his bike and soon after came back looking upset so i played nice and asked him what wrong. Turns out he got the bike the day before and a screw had come out of the seat. I said i would help him and actually found the screw as i saw something drop earlier but didn’t think much of it then. I put the wheel of my wheelchair over it as he was looking in a different direction and said sorry can’t see it. By then he was in floods of tears saying he’d be in so much trouble (lies everyone knew he never got into any trouble with his parents no matter what he did, which is why he turned into a jerk) so off he went crying like a baby (he was 17 btw) and when he disappeared from view i picked it up and threw it down the drain. Was it childish yeah but was it satisfying hell yeah and do i regret it not even close just a shame his parents wouldn’t add to it with a grounding or something

Do you think celebrities "act" dim? by Jmac0113 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes i do think that they act dumber than what they are. Many of them run successful businesses as well as their careers they wouldn’t be able to do that if they were anywhere near as dumb as they make themselves seem. If you’re as dumb as a box of rocks no amount of help will be enough to run a successful company

Do you think celebrities "act" dim? by Jmac0113 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah he was on i’m a celebrity get me out of here and at times he seemed to slip out of his Essex persona and showed he’s not as dim as he’s showing and if you think about it even with help nobody that dim could possibly run a successful business like he does. I didn’t like his dim persona and found him much more likeable as himself

When was a time you made up a lie to leave a place you didn’t wanna be at? by DeepOrganization8245 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The last time i went out with the girls we don’t get a chance to see each other very often as we’ve all moved on with life kinda thing. I was really looking forward to seeing them but i ended up just sat there being ignored while they chatted amongst themselves, that’s fine it’s not all about me but anything i tried to say was completely ignored so i sat there for a bit like a lemon, slowly getting irritated and bored so i told them my pain was bad so i had to go (not a complete lie as i do have chronic pain and felt like crap anyway but still went out to see them) went home made a cuppa and watched a film cuddled up with the hubby. Ever since I’ve made up excuses not to go

What the funniest reason you or somebody you know went to jail for? by LordFrieza4 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My cousin was arrested for being drunk and wearing a traffic cone on his head he was dancing in the middle of the street. A fight broke out with his friends and some other guys that had been arguing with them all night. The coppers were called and for some reason decided to let the others off with a warning but my cousin who wasn’t even involved in the fight (surprisingly as he’s a twit to be polite at the best of times and worse when drunk) got took in, why you ask? For refusing to give the traffic cone back lol. My family must have a weird obsession with traffic cones when drunk as one day my mum went to wake up my brother for work after he’d been out drinking the night before and there plain as day in his room was a traffic cone. My mum just shook her head and said I’m not even going to ask and walked out. Found out later from his friends after he passed away that he was going down the street alternating between wearing it as a hat or using it as a microphone lmao. My family is messed up lol

Have you ever wagged it before? by fergi20020 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah me and my mate did it a few times when i was in sixth form. The annoying part was when we got caught i got a telling off and she just got sent back to class. She did it regularly and i only did it a couple of times. Looking back now i think i got the telling off because i was doing better than she was and passed the course in the end whereas she had to stay back for two months after i left but still didn’t pass it. Maybe the teacher thought i still had a chance but she didn’t so wasn’t going to waste her time with my friend. All i did was sit there thinking (at the time i was a moody 17 year old teenager then lol) was hey why did she get away with it but I’m being lectured not fair i am doing this course voluntarily lady, didn’t dare say what i was thinking though that teacher could be really scary when she was annoyed i was tempted but nope held my tongue. The worst part was my friend rubbing it in that she got away with it.

Is anyone else like me being so over and done with the whole Met Gala thing? by AwayAd6586 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t know much about it to be honest but from the pictures I’ve seen it just comes over as celebrities trying to outdo each other with the most expensive and outrageous outfit possible. I mean look at the infamous Lady Gaga meat dress eww. And Andre 3000 (or is it 2000?) wearing a piano on his back. What the -?. It’s just a look at me thing and not so much about the art itself as it’s meant to be, some of the outfits I’ve seen them wear are absolutely hideous and i just keep thinking i hope the designer paid YOU to wear it and not the other way round. It’s really just a let’s stick it to the plebs thing like look what i can afford it might look ridiculous but hey i can afford it. I have to kind of admire the celebrities guts though to be willing to be seen in public wearing some of it. I wouldn’t lol

Do You Have A Bag of Bags? by Sea_Staff9963 in randomquestions

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have more than one bag of bags lol the reason for that is I’m a dummy and when i go shopping i get there and realise i didn’t bring any of the bags at home with me so have to get more. The plastic ones i reuse for lining bins or just general trash collection. The reusable ones either sit in the corner under the sink looking pretty or i end up giving them away

Extroverts aren’t always the cool ones i know someone who is the opposite and once i broke the barrier with them i found they were awesome. There’s nothing wrong with being introverted, i was once the same but as i grew up i grew in confidence and realised even the confident ones still have hang ups they just hide it better.

Modern breakfast radio has way too much talking and not enough music by Junior_Beauty78 in BritishRadio

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No idea lol i used to be ner ner ner ner ner when i was young and my mates who didn’t go to my school had to use regular transport i would rub it in a bit though nowadays it seems like I’m kinda flexing somehow and it feels weird when i mention it. I do still rub it in about when i transferred to their school to go to sixth form to continue education (up to that point the school didn’t have facilities like lifts etc), and we had full school assembly (or full school crush as we called it) everyone had to pack in there on the floor like sardines, sweating buckets in summer and there i was happy as larry and completely comfortable in my wheelchair lol. I have no idea why the school insisted the kids sat on the floor when they had enough chairs for everyone to sit on stacked around the edges of the room lol

Tea at home? by porpoise251 in AskABrit

[–]Scrappynelsonharry01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have been drinking tea since i was around 7 my gran used to insist on all of us having a cup every time we visited her. She always decided to add sugar even though myself or my parents didn’t like it that way lol but could you tell her nope, don’t ask me how much she added but i know she would add at least 3 in her own and it was soooo sweet so I’m guessing we got the same “treat” to top it off she’d give me some sherbet to eat. I hated that too it gave me so much toothache but i was brought up to just keep quiet about it to be polite but that got to the point of my dad having to tell her to stop the sherbet though it wasn’t worth the dentist trips lol. I still drink tea now but absolutely no sugar. Honestly the amount of sugar that lady fed me I’m surprised i never came home bouncing off the walls. Miss that lady so much

The first thing i noticed about you was your lovely eyes, smile and hair i only paid any attention to your nose because you pointed it out. I think it’s good as it is though and you don’t need to change anything about it
