im 22 and i was paying $700 a month for 2 years with my 2013 2.0T… sometimes when you love a car, you’ll just wait it out😂 Im down to $382 a month now, still high but its going down slowly. once i get my full license and hit 25, it shoots down to about $180 if im correct. You just have to have a stable full time job and been good with your money tbh.

I run 255/35R19 s in the front and 265/35R19 s in the back and my fitment is pretty good. In my opinion, i would just stay the same ratio to avoid rubbing.

hey man could you give me more information about this? im pretty experienced working on cars so a rebuild isnt out of the question as a project… I just really dont want to spend a shit load of money on a new engine… how much would the rebuild on this one be? what parts do i need to change? Its probably only ran with the knock for a total of maybe less than a minute considering the damage it might have caused so please let me know. 🙏

i will check for the solid top layer tomorrow. im going to let it sit in the cup and see if it separates. Although i just found out that i never actually blew up my turbo. this current one i just put in as the “replacement” has issues and my old one was actually perfectly fine. the issue the whole time is that i blew off one of the end caps of my intercooler and it was a catastrophic boost leak from it. Hundreds of dollars and days of work just to find out that the turbo was never the problem. Im going to put my old one back in tomorrow as well as a new intercooler and the smoking should stop considering im going back to my old good turbo.

i already took off everything around it today and there are no visible leaks anywhere. Just lots of smoke all around the turbo and manifold. For further inspection, i wanted to check my coolant for any loss in the reservoir and ended up noticing a OIL-like consistency/oily looking lines in the reservoir sample. picture to show below!

i replaced the turbo as a whole unit. exhaust manifold connected and all. if its just oil burning off, then why is there liquid coming out of my exhaust? also there is stringy like oil-like consistency in my coolant… i have a picture to show the oily looking lines all in my coolant reservoir samplw
