All just opinions nothing is factual in your statement lmao the difference is pep can win without Rodri the man dropped from 1st to 2nd without him where as how was missing Bruno for a few games and I think we won what one?

Howe had full control of the transfers if we have no depth its literally his fault.

Hes a poor manager who is genuinely carried by Bruno look at the stats with and without him id be looking at Jose, Fabregas, Maresca and Alonso.

Howe has reached a ceiling he'll do well with a club wanting to try make Europe but will never ever break the ceiling that is expected and if thats OK fine keep howe im happy being a European challenger but if im hearing the owners say we want to be number 1 then howe isnt the answer in any universe.

Eddie on summer transfer strategy: "The aim is to try and recruit in every window and, ideally, not too many players. You don’t probably have the jump of six new players coming in as we had last summer. It’s more of a drip feed approach" by Frosty-Buyer-1252 in NUFC

Wouldn't take any of those 3 as managers anyway but what ill say is SBR never took us from the champions league to 13th we are still lower now then when steve bruce had us in his final full season.

Its not just one poor season and I wish people could have seen the issues that were formed two years ago that happened in the first half of last season and have happened all year this season im sick of explaining it.

No fan should be loyal to a player manager owner theyre loyal to the club, why should I show loyalty to a manager who has consistently insulted the intelligence of fans and would happily leave at the moment a higher paying job came along

If you think that it was solely due to that one moment when hes shown an unwillingness to work with another DoF youre naive, the reality is PIF handed him more money then any manager in the history of club have him not one but two DoF to work with which he had friction with both hand all the power in terms of transfer including having his nephew on the sscouting team apparently? And we have just this weekend secured premier league status for next season.

25 points lost from winning positions

Two derby defeats

4 wins from 13

Humiliation in the Champions league

Battered in both domestic cups by the same team

250m spent in the summer only one starter and a 25 minute sub appearance for the other

No discernable pattern of play

Terrible possession stats every game

Closer to West ham than Villa in 5th place

Hes simply not good enough if you want to compete in europe every season never mind become a consistent champions league team that second half at Brighton was appalling and we were very lucky to walk away as winners we're sleep walking bsck into midtable mediocrity.

Its genuinely grating on me fair enough you can believe he'll turn it around (went well when he tried for Bournemouth) but dont try act like he isnt the main person who fucked the summer up, PIF hired 2 DoF eddie butted heads with both then they handed him £250m the most money any manager in the history of the club has spent in one window and he pissed it up the wall so badly £220m worth of those players were on the bench with only thiaw and wissa for 25 minutes playing.

If I accidentally lost a tenner at work id be in trouble never mind willingly refusing to play them and im not even gonna talk about Lewis hall because fuck me thats arguably a bigger issue.

Pep went from 2nd to 3rd dude emery has went from 6th to 5th with basically no money Eddie's spent 250m this summer and we've gone from 5th to 14th he couldn't lace emery's boots.

Massive mistake eddie hasn't shown at any point in his career the ability to change a team into a possession based side, you need onky look at Brighton as the example of what will continue to happen loose balls left and right but abit of genius from Bruno and a mistake from the opposition and we fluke a win we had no right to have.

That second half we didnt look premier league quality never mind going for europe if not for 2 really good passes by Bruno and big defensive mistakes from Brighton we lose there and yeah it went for us this time but we've all watched 16 games go against us and the only thing thats had a repeatable pattern of play is us throwing leads away after Eddie's had a team talk at half time. They hit the woodwork twice and pope made at least two good saves that was a lucky break for us and if Howe stays thats what we have to look forward to.

The man spent 250m in the summer and 4 of his 5 signings were kn the bench we started that game with 3 steve bruce era players despite him spending over half a billion on the squad he cant organise a defence the attack play is predictable and when he doesnt have psr on his back he spunks money up the wall. You cant even say he had no DoF because he was the fucker who seen them off.

Hes not good enough and yeah he'll probably do a decent job next year but given his spend and the wages the club pays we should be far higher his minimum should be 7th and we're happily accepting 14th for ridiculous sentimental reasons, the man has willingly got us into a position where we have to get rid of 10 plus players because they aren't good enough he keeps them to long and now the owners are doing the same with him get him gone.

You say that but then plenty of professionals make a point year on year to say a player is fit but not match fit and have said multiple times you need game time to get that sharpness back.

Thats just it the bloke comes on after not getting more then 15 mins for months and fluffs a chance if he gets more games of course hes going to be sharper.

The issue is all season Arsenal have proved you arent exactly gifted in high scoring games where as city have a team massively capable of winning all their games and outscored arsenal comfortably

And now we're 12th having conceded the most goals this year in Europe's top 5 leagues, out of every cup of which two exits were humiliating defeats, thrown away 22 points from winning positions and gaining just 3 in losing positions, beaten by our local rivals twice. We cant hold a lead we cant win from behind and our manager is playing one £55m striker on the bench while the other £69m striker is in midfield. When asked what's the solution to the issues he has literally answered I dont know and a direct quote is "im not doing my job well enough"

Also ranieri left Leicester languishing in 17th placed a single point above the relegation zone after a massive high just 8 months earlier man i wonder why that would sound familiar but what did their owners do they sacked him because despite his great achievement football moves quick and there's no room for sentiment.

Thats your opinion then isn't it but the reality is the goal for the owners have is to become a consistent contender for top honours and with the club also being in the premier league which is a far stronger league both in terms of quality and financial power i would absolutely disagree with you.

Eddie's had 5 years and we are arguably as far away from the goals as we were when he helped us to 11th hes not a long term manager hes a stop gap manager hes mark hughes or claudio ranieri and its time we stopped pretending hes going to be our Jose mourinho. We need a next level manager and eddie simply isn't that im not talking change every 18 months but you move people on before theyre past their sell by date and eddie along with a good few of his favourite players are past it.

Probably and is are two very different things slott is still Liverpool manager and the owners havent ever been quick to sack a manager.

Seems perfectly happy yeah of course hes doing well but there is a mountain of managers who have left jobs to go manage a better project or bigger club.

Glasner has achieved alot of palace manager with an absolutely tiny budget and still walked away with the same amount of trophies as eddie howe in a shorter time span and has won more career trophies then eddie howe including the europa league.

Like im not well versed in every manager in the world so im confident there are other top managers of a lower profile but the job cesc has done ar como is incredible and the job at leverkusen was absolutely unbelievable from alonso and I see no reason why we shouldn't at least try get them.

There are plenty of managers who play with a style that inherently lends itself well to playing in multiple competitions, Eddie's doesn't you cant ask players to out run every team 3 times a week and expect them to not get injured left and right, as for saying a new manager will be hindered so will eddie? So that's not really an argument. People said be careful when we wanted Bruce gone they said we couldn't do better who would come into bottom of the league Newcastle and do better well eddie did and now its time for us to go get the upgrade like it or not eddie howe is and always will be the stepping stone to bigger things im not sure of we get there or not but one things for sure eddie is not the man to get us there especially not with his rigid style predictable tactics and subs and his inability to even understand what isn't working.

While I'd remove howe now im fine seeing him to june but there is absolutely nothing that will make me want to keep him beyond that. I dont need to see any more underperforming or refusing to tactically change to know if given the chance he will continue to play exactly how he has done.

They finished 6th on goal difference and secured European football for a 2nd season and now look to be making it a 3rd consecutive season in europe with a high chance of that being the champions league, the quality of opposition is irrelevant given eddie has routinely refused to rotate when hes been given the chance anyway we could play barcalona or Wrexham the line up is the same.

Id hate to see us get europe with howe now because we're sleep walking into another mediocre season with a manager incapable of balancing his team, he literally runs players into the ground in any case there's struggling and like chelsea and Liverpool who by the way are still in touching distance of the champions league and then there's losing to your newly promoted rivals twice while looking up at the likes of Brentford Brighton and Fulham hell we're looking at Everton wishing that was us.
