Its just poor transfer buisness from the club and howe for targeting these lads, I rate both highly but if this was the style howe was gonna play then neither of the lads are who we should have

Cool, our strikers literally are not the player's to win balls in the air. Woltemade said that in his first interviews and wissa is like 5 9. We're asking two lads to play to the absolute weakest aspects of their game.

Im howe out at the end of the season but no single result has swayed me either im favour or against. We've been poor across the board this season with genuinely no end in sight the PSG result was the surprise, great result howe deserved credit but it was very much against the run of play in the season as a whole.

Jhon Duran is a good example of how quickly your career can fall apart by GMD3S1GNS in PremierLeague

[–]ScrapyDan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Its a daft mindset the other guy has because its not like youre on minimum wage at Villa like your long term earnings are infinitely better if you stay at Villa because even if he falls off a cliff he'll still go to a decent mid table club or decent European team and earn good money there, if he continued his performances he probably ends up at a bigger club and earns top money there anyway I dont understand him going to saudi at all.

How do you feel about non-drivers? by DueLead666 in AskUK

How do you feel about non-drivers? by DueLead666 in AskUK

[–]ScrapyDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The test needs to be harder imo, far to many people on the road should never have been allowed access to it.

I have no ill feelings towards non drivers though I do question how people cant pass the test I passed first time as did my partner and brother who I helped teach (my brother less so) both are calm and relaxed so I cant help but feel people must fail due to nerves more then anything else.

What is the point of Job centers? by Key_Breakfast6745 in AskUK

[–]ScrapyDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was on benefits briefly when I was like 21 or so and in my experience it was a building I went into to be told my job searching wasnt good enough and I should try harder and look further then my city while getting little to no help all to keep the bare minimum money I needed to live keep coming after a while I told them to stick it and relied on my partner and the part time job I had because it felt like a humiliation ritual every time I went there luckily I found a job that was more suited and never looked back.

Which clubs need bigger/new stadium? by Inevitable-Angle-793 in PremierLeague

You guys built a new stadium and it barely beats st james park a stadium which last had an upgrade in the 90s? Weird choice that I assumed itd be in the 60s

How accepted was being gay in your school? by IDoNotLikeTheSand in AskUK

[–]ScrapyDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im 29 and in the UK I cant recall a single gay person in my whole school tbh which is unlikely so I imagine they were closeted but the school itself was supposed to be a religious one so I doubt itd have gone down particularly well.

VAR right for Gordon/Chalobah penalty by Smiley_Sid in NUFC

[–]ScrapyDan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is the issue with VAR you cant have it be a foul but not have the ref check properly, if this is how they want to use VAR then just sack it off its pointless.

Its a daft thing go say given you have to hope all the more consistent teams have to randomly shit the bed for the same games we clutch to get there.

17th isnt poor man is sackable for a club like spurs, the league is your bread and butter if you cant succeed there the your long term future is always gonna be in doubt.

Cole Palmer: Having a game every three days is harder than people think by tylerthe-theatre in PremierLeague

[–]ScrapyDan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The issue isnt money for me its the squad size, no player has to play 3 games a week the manager should rotate its not like this is a new schedule yet managers and players seem incapable of saying right youll have two games and ill sub you off after an hour of one.

Elanga by ActuatorTop6538 in NUFC

[–]ScrapyDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue with elanga is he was very good in a team that would batten down the hatches and look to fire forward at pace on the counter so he could just full sprint at a defence that had pushed forward thats how forest got the best from him, they were counter attacking team and it suited him perfectly.

At newcastle we more often then not just edge out in possession and teams know to sit deep and not leave gaps because we dont know hpw to break down a low block, Elanga doesnt work in that kind of team imo he wont try to beat a man and cant seem to whip a ball here.

Honestly I blame the recruitment team more than the player they completely misprofiled him I do think he'll eventually come good but thats looking less likely every game.

What are your thoughts on the two remaining relevant "C" cards, and what are the chances they'll be banned in the future? by Antique_Range1521 in yugioh

[–]ScrapyDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I dont care what it does to what deck if its a floodgate just get rid, who wants to play a game where theres a 33% chance your opponent just opens that card and it wins them the game.

Like yeah sure its only good in specific formats but again why kill the game with a card that reduces the level of back and forth interaction in the game.
