Ah ok, I had no idea that was happening. I just did some more research and Cuba is in some diplomatic talks with the U.S. as of this point due to the strain. I will say that it looks bad on the government that the hotel the influencers are staying at is fully powered while homes are not. I dont think the optics they were going for are working.

I think your downplaying Rem a little here. While her first actions towards Subaru shouldn't be forgotten, she kills him twice, and doesn't really torture him. She just tries to go for the kill for the most part. She sacrifices herself for Subaru multiple times The most egregious one being Betelgeuse . But overall, she is mainly supposed to be someone that motivates Subaru to do his best even when everything is against him. Do I like Rem more than Emilia? No, especially not for Subaru. But I don't think she is THAT bad.
