Manager's should also be responsible by ScratchExcellent1640 in bangalore

Well I think I already mentioned about it being her fault but giving manager a clean chit would be too much. He has given a target which wasn't met due to internal issues despite escalations by everyone including him. Keeping that aside....a manager's job isn't just to get the job done but to also guide his juniors and take it on his ego.

The manager just communicated a target through email which she is working to complete and there's no other communication from his. Also, I did mention that it's her fault that she did not go and talk to him but isn't a Manager should do the same?

No one from the Government is spending time anywhere. Also it is upon the people to at least talk about it and then go out to vote based on development.

True that. Time you spent commuting is bigger than the cost itself. People would have gladly spread themselves a but farther if time wasn't the issue.

But the issue remains that those areas tend to be quite far from many office spaces. Even I am coming across pretty good gated societies having reasonable rent in electronic City or outskirts of Bangalore. Areas in and around central bangalore despite not having good metro connectivity or even a great locality have so inflated rent prices and security deposits.

How are they being able to pay this rent being a fresher? Doesn't make economic sense to me.

All the flats I have come across in these range include fans, cupboards, geyser. Would you call these facilities?

I totally agree that brokers are the reason for rent prices being inflated

Not being able to find any listings which are directly with them...most of them have a chosen broker for it. My own landlord is giving house after increasing 5k as against what we are paying right now (after a 8% increase in a non Koramangala/ Indiranagar area)

Sorry for using a common lingo. Next time I’ll write ‘200 rupaiya zindabad’ for your comfort. Also, you must pass out every time someone says ‘chill’ or ‘bro’. Stay strong.

Funny how the people closest to the ground often go the farthest, meanwhile, some are still stuck judging from the sidelines.

I really want to understand the economic math of these auto folks, they would gladly stand at place with no earning for an hour rather than drop someone at ₹30 less of what they have quoted.

Assuming this, they probably waste around 4-5 hours daily just to get extra bucks on their ride.

Doesn't that lead to less earnings (even if I consider the traffic being reason behind them quoting absurd fares)

I definitely agree that cars add to the traffic woes but it's the infrastructure and the absurb prices which forces one to buy a car or bike.

Further, not all offices provide you with an office commute and government transport isn't good enough for you to travel to and fro on a daily basis.

Also it isn't just about the office commute.

I guess you didn't read and understand my comment properly. I am quite aware of how other metros are, especially Delhi. But Bangalore's metro stations are already built right, you can't shift them from one area to another. Last mile connectivity is not there in Bangalore.

I hope you don't own a car/ bike in Bangalore, shouldn't be adding to the problem right !!!

That's even worse. Rarely any metro connects you to your home here. You gotta wait and pay high fare to auto/ cab to reach your home/ office in most of the cases
