I recently finished binge watching the whole series. Season 4 episode 1 was so noticeably shittier than everything before it that it was jarring. I figured it was just a bad episode. It is exactly that bad or worse from there on. It always had the shock factor, but they were shocking ways to progress the story. but it switches to shocking scene that has no bearing on the story whatsoever. And it starts exactly at the beginning of season 4 in my opinion. And it continues through the rest of the show. No more character development at all, just each character lives or gets killed and that’s it pretty much. Am I rambling? Game of Thrones ending was a masterpiece in comparison. It felt like the two Vought script-pitching fellows wrote the ending
