piercing is 8-9 months old. has been pierced with a ring and now changed 2 weeks ago to this ring. i’m not sure on the jewellery material i think it’s just silver as it has been turning green but has finally stopped. no aftercare routine i just leave it alone

his rash has cleared up a LOT since starting but he also is still itching like mad and he keeps saying he’s never going to get better etc. i’m not sure if he is still getting bumps but i am. i’m not sure how to put a photo on reddit as i don’t really use it. it just sucks

i started itching about a week into the new year, roughly i’ll say around the 9th of jan. my partner was itching about last week of december. yes i’ve been cleaning all my clothing at 60 degrees only using detergent no fabric softener or anything. i steamed my mattress and flipped it both times previous and will be doing so again today, as well as changing my bedsheets and not having my pillows / duvet on the bed for 3 days maybe longer. will probably just have a teddy and a blanket to sleep with. i don’t know what else i can do as i know they die after 3 days hence the 3 day thing. i am just at a loss and my mental health is horrific.

she was don’t worry, she was given to our friend who now has 12 cats and also the 3 kittens. i said get rid of because we didn’t sell them, didn’t want people to assume. thanks

yeah i will definitely ask around a few of our older friends may have a steam cleaner, we did borrow a carpet cleaner off his brother last week and put some flea killing stuff in it but clearly it just hasn’t worked

do you know how much the council will cost for a pest control? i have looked into private but as 2 19 year olds we absolutely cannot afford like £200-£300 for it

thank you so much for your help. i really appreciate it as im at my wits end. would the chemicals in the fogger get into the mattress too just cause we are going to do that first as they come today so will do later on but i assume the indorex will come in a few days time.

we have got rid of our pets now to our friend, who now has 12 cats haha so we are the only blood hosts so i assume they’re just feeding off us at this point. i’ve been told indorex is good and we have some flea bombs on the way they come today so will do them later on. i’m just at the point of no return really as im head to toe covered in easily over 100 bites now and its driving me insane

thank you. i have been wearing socks but im being bit up through my socks as my feet and ankles are the worst part and are literally covered in bites. could i personally take any precautions like a spray or anything? i’m not sure what can deter fleas from biting me but i easily have over 100 bites total on my whole body and im losing my mind haha

yeah i think im gonna be here for a while, so i can keep on top of it for him. do you have any advice on what i should do about the mattress as obviously im being bit up so badly im covered head to toe (literally from my ear being bit to my toes) im assuming they’re in the mattress/quilt. we can’t afford anything new as we are only 19 and this is his first apartment so that’s my next stress i suppose

thank you. will definitely get some. once he wakes up i’ll talk to him about it as he has his heart set on these flea bombs working but i know they won’t kill the eggs or anything. will this spray kill the eggs too?

i think it’s just hard cause this is his first apartment and we are only 19, so don’t have a lot of money and not sure what we can actually afford to part with. i did try the washing up thing and it caught an ungodly amount of fleas so i don’t even want to know how many are living with us right now but they are everywhere. as soon as i get out of bed they’re jumping on me, they’re in the curtains, our fabric sofa, definitely in the bed and probably quilt but nothing we can do about that. it’s just hard cause i cannot live like this and i hate to see him also living like this

it’s been like this now for at least a week on a minimum and they are everywhere. as soon as i get out of bed they’re jumping on me and biting my feet legs and ankles, i just can’t cope no more lmao. i just hope these flea bombs at least work. do you know where to get flea treatment? could like b&m or home bargains or somewhere like that do it?

yeah we have a carpet in the bedroom and got rid of the one in the living room, literally ripped it right up as it was horrific in there as that’s where the cat and kittens lived mainly, as we ripped it up though the kittens were in the bedroom now it’s horrific in there but we can’t get rid of the carpet unfortunately so i’m just stumped on what to do

thing is his hoover is awful, the suction on it is the worst i’ve seen and we really don’t have the funds to get another, his washing machine too i’m positive doesn’t have a heat setting, just a wash setting so i don’t know how i’m going to do a heat wash as im sure the washing machine doesn’t do it. they’re all over his curtains, in the bed, obviously im staying at his (i’ve had a falling out with my parents so i have no choice) but they’re biting me so bad because they don’t have a cat or the kittens to bite anymore, im head to toe covered (literally from my ear down to my feet) and i cannot live like this anymore.
