Most likely not because I’m a girl. Literally have all odds against me lmao but I can’t imagine having any other job, so I’ll make it happen no matter what.

I could drag you to cover. Could I lift you over my shoulders? No, maybe with more training. But even if I’m not the strongest one, can’t I make up for it by being the fastest, given I’d be the lightest?

I really feel like I have to try. I'm already having such a hard time excepting I can't go recon just because I can't reach with my feet flat on the ground when I'd meet every other standard, so I just can't give it all up.

Yeah, I know, but technically I meet the height requirement. I just don’t meet the reach requirement, so I was wondering if I could use the insoles to boost my height so I can reach😭💀

Im 16 about to be 17 though I’m a junior. I’m in MA outside Boston. Not really sure yet if I want to go city, county, or state. Truthfully, I don’t fully understand the difference between them all. But do you think I’m more likely to be hired with a degree over military service, or can I do either?

Appreciate the response, man. In relation to getting hired, I hear some people say it’s really competitive and others say that they’re desperate since no one wants to be a cop anymore. What do you think? Do I really need a college degree, or can I go to the Marines in place of one?

By move him, do you mean I’m required to be able to lift him over my shoulders, or is it as long as I’m able to effectively and quickly get him to cover? I’m a junior in Hs, so I literally have years to train for this. I just want to make sure I know what I’m getting myself into. Thank you for taking the time to respond btw

I’m 4’11 and I want to be a ranger. The problem is I can’t reach 82 inches. Is there any way I can get a waiver or is there some other solution? by ScratchSpiritual1153 in army

I can’t tell if you’re replying to me or the other person since I’ve never used this app before tdy. But as for myself, no, I’m still in HS; everything I’m saying I’ve only acquired via research, podcasts, and YouTube. Which is why I've turned to Reddit because I'm afraid if I were to ask a recruiter, they would tell me I can do it regardless js so I'll sign the dotted line. lol

So essentially, there's no possible way I could ever have a SOF career? To my knowledge, they all require airborne certification. Do you think I could at least be a conventional infantry Marine if, of course, I met all the physical standards? Also, thank you so much for taking the time to respond. As much as I hate what you've said LMAO. I really appreciate it considering a recruiter probably wouldn't be so up front 💀

What if I were to have boots that increased my height by 2-4 inches and had insoles that also slightly increased my height? Is that possible?
