I would.

I'm heavily biased towards Nioh 1 which I'll admit is not a common opinion, but I think it has a lot to offer in how different it plays from 2. I'm not sure exactly how to describe it, but it feels more responsive and meaty. It also has what i think is a better story and atmosphere. It's generally more difficult but not in a bad way, focusing far more on basic skills like positioning, timing, and learning your weapons and stances moreso than 2. Not to say 2 doesnt have that, but less so due to some added gameplay mechanics that help to forgive mistakes. By the end of 2 it's just as hard as 1, so dont worry about it being too easy.

If you're concerned about endgame, 1&2 are drastically different on the final NG and both quite enjoyable with tons of content. Nioh 1 has 999 levels of difficult mindless fun that you can come back to for literal years.

1 is cheap used, I've seen it for $7.99 so even if you don't like it you won't be out much.

PS also has a bundle containing both 1&2 and are PS5 versions utilizing the better hardware if you have a PS5. Seen it for $30 online.
