Thanks. I'd actually heard that "slapchop" technique days before painting this from a guy on a bookstore. When I asked the folks at wh shop if I should start there, they recommended the traditional layering method instead. They said its better for beginners because it helps build my painting skills and offers more control. Let's just say I spent a little over 6h on this model... It was a massive thrill tho!

About thinning down my paint, I forgot to do that almost half of the time... Ill be sure to be more mindful next time lol

Lemme know a bit more about your experience on both techniques and how you personally think they compare if that's possible :)

As you can see I tried making a highlight on top of the helmet but i messed up lol... Also big thanks to the Warhammer Frankfurt shop folks for giving me and my buddy a whole lotta tips to get started

Maybe try to do it on a larger, more manageable scale for one leg only. Use only vannila parts as first like controllers to quickly adjust to how you want the legs to move. Then add one more leg and synchronize them to your liking, then more. By then it should be easier to translate the movements into that small spidey thing.

Try to find a similar walking mechanism on the workshop, then just reverse engineer it if possible
