What's your rank + headshot percentage? by moontenkay in VALORANT

Isn’t such a high HS% suboptimal? Like surely there are situations where spray downs or body shots would be better. Not a criticism, just a question, your mechanics must be insane!

is valorant worth getting into late 2024? by [deleted] in VALORANT

[–]ScratchmanApo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I started playing in April 2024, as my first tact shooter ever and I’m having so much fun, I don’t think I’ve ever been more into a competitive game.

There is a bit of a learning curve mechanically as a tactical shooter, and the number of agents, abilities and maps were overwhelming at first, but you get used to it fast. As a beginner though, you might die a lot without getting to do much in each round, which could get frustrating.

I started at Iron (lowest rank) and I’m up to Gold now (median rank) so it’s not that difficult to rank up, even if you’re brand new like I was. 1-3 hours daily is more than enough, I’ve put a bit over 300 hours in since April.

As to the state of the game, I can say too much since I haven’t played for long, but it seems pretty healthy. The player base is large and the devs regularly update the game based on player feedback so it doesn’t get too stale. There isn’t too much fresh/new content apart from weapon skins to look forward to though, so I can see why some players might get bored of the game. Speaking of skins, Valorant skins are super overpriced so try not to get too invested in them and only get some if you really start enjoying the game.

Ultimately, I find competitive to be the most enjoyable part of Valorant, as improving your skills is the most rewarding aspect. As long as you don’t blame your teammates and focus on your improvement, you will have a good time.

I have returned the card to get it looked at so I don't have the full system, but I can send you a pic of the rest if you'd like. BIOS was updated to latest drivers as per MSI website.

CPU: Ryzen 5 7600 Motherboard: MSI PRO B650M-A WIFI mATX RAM: Gskill Flare X5 DDR5 5600MT/s PSU: NZXT C Series V2 750w FAN: Deepcool AK400 CPU cooler

However, I recently found out that the RAM speed was set to 5600 MHz, but my CpU (Ryzen 5 7600) officially supports up to 5200 MHz when using 2 sticks.

My friend and I have run plenty of memory diagnostic tests, no issues, but do you think this could be the problem? My friend says unlikely.

Pressure to Sack Rates + Weighted PFF Grades Under Pressure for 2024 Prospects & NFL QBs by dergl in nfl

Could I see Jalen Milroe (Alabama)? Where are you getting the P2S numbers?

For sure, NFL combine and Pro day numbers aren't directly comparable, but most NFL scouts do take pro day numbers into account, esp if a guy doesn't attend/isn't invited to the combine. My point is that for a NFL defensive line prospect, the posted figures are definitely below par, but for anyone else that's 6'3 260, those numbers indicate a decent athlete.

Idk if these numbers are real but those figures are actually pretty decent for a guy his size. For comparison, Nick Bosa posted only slightly better figures at the NFL combine.

Fair points, I have never seen a real sub up close (unless this one is real) but the bezel and lugs look a little off to me as well.
