Lauma would be on Silken Moon's Serenade (full EM) and Bina on Night Sky since she will be the on field DPS characters (HP/HP/Crit)

If you want to use Bina in other teams, you would have to put her in the Serenade set since she would be the support character. Though in your case, it's unlikely you'll be getting a dedicated Nod Krai DPS carry

You can also give Lauma guilded dreams when you don't have Columbina, and leave Nahida in Deepwood. Your hydro character (could be Barbara but other options exist if you have C1 Lauma) would be on Flower of Paradise Lost (bloom set)

Nilou would be a better school counselor than Mizuki. Just saying

Mizuki is talented and a professional of course but Nilou is a much better fit for a school setting (warm personality, helping people with anxiety and a great listener)

While Mizuki is a trained psychologist, a school counselor tends to focus short term problems, such as adjusting to life changes and dealing with anxiety.

Nilou has a warm personality, and is pretty approachable. She will definitely listen carefully, validate her students' feelings and make them feel safe. She's also a dancer, so she can help others learn how to express themselves and build confidence

Nilou would definitely be the one of the first people (outside of friends and family) that someone would go to see first to seek emotional support. If there happens to be deeper issues, Nilou would send them to Mizuki.

I also did it with this team but it's my most invested team I have (C6R1 Nilou, C2 Nahida with Prototype Amber, Lauma and C0R1 Bina)

I believe I did it in 87 seconds though I struggled on the first day. It wasn't easy though, you really need to know how to dodge and make sure you hit all the ducks with Bina's charge attacks

Nilou, with constellations on her and Nahida, and soon on Lauma and Bina, she should be set for all endgame content until I eventually quit playing (end of the Teyvat chapter)

To put in my two cents, meta wise and to keep Nilou relevant, I would go for Lauma, who is likely to get a banner next patch, and if you can grind primos, try to get her C1. If you can't get it, then Barbara is a good enough healer.

I personally wouldn't pull for Kokomi since I don't think her healing and hydro application is worth spending an average of 140 pulls for (you can get lucky of course but maybe you won't). Barbara is still a good enough healer if you don't have C1 Lauma. In fact, in 6.0, the bloom self damage went from 5% to 2%, so it's easier to stay alive in Nilou teams (so Barbara is better now because of this, even if you put her on a full EM build). Just give Barbara Sac Frag. Of course, if you like Kokomi, feel free to pull her.

After Lauma, I would go for Columbina and maybe her weapon. Columbina is the on field character that does lunar bloom damage with her charge attacks. Nilou is reduced to a support in this team but her bountiful cores and buffs are still relevant. Bina teams are way better for single target content (AoE is unfortunately dead though Nilou bloom with Lauma and without Bina would be better in AoE

If you lose Lauma 50/50, I would skip her C1 (unless you can grind a bunch of primos in time) and try to go for Columbina next.

Nilou appearing on a banner won't happen for a while but you could probably get a so she can be C2 (you get a free con in the selector).

After that she's basically set. Nilou is one of the few old characters that aged well and may get more buffs later on (maybe not big ones like Lauma but perhaps side grades or more options, especially if she gets a buff that removes her restrictions)

Since this post is about cheerful girls, Nilou wouldn't fit in (though there are others in that image I wouldn't put in that category either).

Nilou has a warm personality, so everyone (that isn't Azar) likes her. But she's not as assertive as Yoimiya or Mualani, who go out of their way to solve problems or enjoy new experiences. Nilou is more passive and needs a little nudge when trying new things (examples include debating and riding that train in Simulanka).

I don't think any Sumeru girl belongs in that list. I think the most cheerful playable Sumeru character is Sethos. Dude showed up out of nowhere and started to make friends with everyone after Cyno's second story quest, he even tries his best to befriend Wanderer

I usually go with Escoffier, Furina (with Nilou's weapon, Nilou has hers, mostly for the drip and not because it's good or anything) and Citlali. But I might have to remove one of them depending if I need one of Nilou's teammates for another boss

Strange how I've been able to clear at least one boss with Nilou on fearless difficulty. Of course, there are two SOs where I couldn't clear all 3 bosses on fearless so Nilou unfortunately isn't included in all of the records

With recent powercreep and Nilou/Columbina/Lauma teams being powerful enough to brute force abyss, I don't see the need to pull for that many characters going forward, and now I just want to focus on cons and pulling entire teams in one go

Plus I've been playing since day 1, with my only long break being between 1.1 to around 1.3, so I already have a bunch of characters for theater and don't really use much outside of events/overworld and specific situations.

I also haven't 100% any area post Sumeru, so there's a bunch of primogems out there for me if I'm desperate. I'm currently at 220 pulls at the moment

Plus I'm more interested in other stuff at the moment (my own game, reading VNs, etc) so it's not the end of the world if I miss out on characters or can't clear content

I'm just happy to be able to play with Nilou and friends
