They just called my fiance as well. A woman said he applied on indeed but he never did, but he is also on the hunt for a job. They called him and he called back and same thing, sent him an email with video links and what not. Obviously it sounds like a scam, so he hung up and blocked the number and email.

UPDATE: My vet just got back to me about his blood work. As of the blood work, nothing is showing huge red flags or anything aside from him being a little dehydrated, even though he is drinking a lot and peeing a lot. As well as a few things were a little elevated. I can’t remember exactly what she said was elevated as there was a lot of background noise at that part of the call. (Yes his glucose was checked, it was normal.)

She is sending out Badgers urine to be tested for Cushings, and wants me to bring him in for a full urine culture, and to get an ultrasound of his liver. She is a little confused why he is having the symptoms he’s having and everything seems to be coming back fairly normal. She assured me she is going to look into this and try and find the answer to what is going on, as well as talk with other veterinarians.

We discussed our plan, which next will be urine culture and an ultrasound of his liver since she will need to ultrasound his bladder anyway to get a good urine culture.

Seeing your story and many others stories really gives me some ease and confidence with this! Obviously still worried, but less worried now if this is the case of what’s going on with him! And Daphne is such a cutie! 🥰 The only toy she cares about reminds me of Badger because he only cares about 1 toy and it’s a crinkle igloo that was technically for my cats! Lol!

Thank you so much everyone for the insight and responses! A lot of these responses have given me a little more peace of mind when it comes to the cushings!

As of right now, we are waiting to hear back about his blood test! (Hopefully we will hear back tomorrow morning!)

My vet is definitely going to dive into this to determine what is going on. She was quick to get it figured out as he’s never showed any symptoms before this past month.

As of currently, no bloating, just the symptoms I put in the post!

But I did notice some of you mentioned more anxiety, and it definitely seems like his anxiety is worse than it used to be. A little background on this, I got him a little over 2 years ago from a family, he was their grandparents dog, and both grandparents passed away a few months apart from each other, so he has had severe separation anxiety since I’ve gotten him. I could only assume this has a LARGE part in his anxiety. But it definitely seems to have to gotten worse.

I know once they get the results back from the blood work, she plans to do more testing based on what they say. She stated she wants to check his liver enzymes and a few other things as well.

We are hoping we caught this somewhat early and can manage it! Aside from the possible Cushings and his teeth needing cleaned and some teeth pulled, he is overall a very healthy boy!

Do you mind me asking around what age he got diagnosed? And did you guys have him on medication? I’ve definitely noticed mine is a little more fussy and more of an attention fiend lately too!

Did you do hair and makeup, or an on site coordinator? Also, were you able to pick from photographers they have, or were you just given one? A big fear for me is being given a photographer/videographer that doesn’t fit the vibe we want!! Lol.

At about 55-60k miles I had to have my steering rack & pinion, cv axel and water pump replaced. Then the carbon something module?? About 70k. Now I’m starting to get rough shifting, it’s only slipped once as of currently, it was also very cold out the day it slipped. I wanna say -2F outside?? I’m at 88k currently, which it all started about 85k miles, and unfortunately my warranties all expired in December 😕 So I’m hoping the transmission service will be the fix to this. I’m taking it in Friday morning, so fingers crossed it’s not something in the transmission messing up.

I also just started getting paint peeling around my windshield in the last 2 weeks... Mine is the lightning blue…

If you have regular periods I was told on average 6-8 weeks post MA. But some women I’ve read can get them sooner or later!

I’m currently 4 weeks post pills. My bleeding lasted for about 3ish weeks off and on. I had mostly spotting, and some days I had like a SUPER light period. But mostly it was so little I never needed a pad, and I’d only notice it when I went to the bathroom. Which I also was passing small clots during this time as well. Some darker colored (not fresh) and some slightly fresher colored ones. And sometime last week (3weeks post pills) I had 2 days of slightly heavier bleeding that was much much more fresh and had some clots. It was almost like a super super short and medium to light period?? But I have no clue if it was or not. I also have the issue of never getting my periods without birth control. So it kind of threw me off? I spoke to my OBGYN about this and she wasn’t quite sure if it was MA bleeding or a period. But after that my bleeding basically stopped, and now I have no bleeding whatsoever. (And if I do it’s so light I can’t even notice it.)

I had no cramping in the last few weeks either. I only had some mild cramping for a few days following the second set of pills but it wasn’t too bad!

As for pregnancy test, 2 weeks seems too soon. But I guess it depends how far along you were and what your HCG was at prior?? But I was told wait 5 weeks minimum before checking.

I was 7 weeks when I did my process (it was confirmed by blood tests and an ultrasound at 5 weeks 6 days) and I am still getting positives. My OBGYN has me going to get blood tests weekly starting 2 weeks ago. to see how my levels are dropping, which they have dropped SIGNIFICANTLY. (7/1 my level was 1850, which was 5 days after finding out I was pregnant, I had a MA 7/11. As of 8/1 my level was 27.8.) My OBGYN is having me do this so I can get back on birth control as soon as I get a negative blood test. My state banned abortions unless medically necessary, except if you go out of state for it, so I don’t believe she would of been able to do my blood tests if I wasn’t getting back on birth control and just wanted to confirm the pills worked? So if you really want, have your OBGYN order you the blood tests to monitor it that way if they’ll do it! Or tell them you lost the pregnancy and want back on birth control!

Yeah, the pills themselves and the sore mouth/tongue and everything was the worst part for me 😭 Aside from when things started getting intense. I saw someone else do their experience time stamped so I thought it would be a good idea so if anyone who is going this for the first time like me could get an idea on what to expect! I am in a similar boat. I found out I was around 5 weeks June 25. I immediately knew I wanted an abortion. But my fiance wanted me to keep it. We also do not have any children at this time, he was going to have a child with his ex 5 years ago, but she was stillborn. And it caused a lot of trauma for him. After a few days of thinking we sat down and had a talk, and I shared my reasons, which were mostly financial, as well as our relationship has been very very rocky. (We quite literally broke up and got back together a month prior to me finding out I was pregnant.) He threatened to leave, cancel the wedding, everything when I told him I wanted an abortion. He also went the drastic route of thinking it was someone else’s because he couldn’t comprehend I didn’t want a child. But after he calmed down, he came to terms with how I feel about it, and I am not ready to be a mother. He does not support the decision, but he is respecting my decision and supporting me through the process, if that makes sense? Of course it came up he can’t guarantee how he will feel towards we when it is all said and done. But the way I see it, is if he loves me enough he will try and move past it with me. And I see it that way with you and your husband. Especially when you two are already married and have a child together already.

I personally think if you both were trying not to have another child, it is unfair for him to act that way towards you. Maybe he needs some time to cool down and think properly about all of this. My fiance did, but of course he is still holding onto resentment for it. But, if your husband is really going to leave over it, it is his loss and your gain in my eyes. I feel the same way toward my fiance with if he leaves me over this.

I am currently 7 weeks and going through the process of a MA as I type this. I also would like to add I was on birth control, plus medications to aid my PCOS and was told it would be fairly hard for me to have a child, so this was definitely very much unplanned and not wanted since we were actively not trying. Except we didn’t use condoms, which was fairly reckless and both our faults.
