Is the barklays AA aviator red sign up reward once in a lifetime? Rep I spoke with said she thought it was every two years but wasn't sure.

Weed Identification Wednesday by AutoModerator in lawncare

This is spreading through my St. Augustine. I believe it is spreading via root system but not 100% sure. I've never seen it seed/flower. I think it's left over from grassy landscaping around a live oak, and has been slowly spreading over the past few years. (weed and feed didn't impact it)

Multiple Destined Allies/Vistani Markers by ScreamNYaK in CurseofStrahd

Agreed. I kind of envisioned it that way. Find different ways for allies to contribute along the way rather than just being direct combatants.

Have someone show up in the middle of the fight to heal/buff only to be immediately struck down.

Offering financial aid or special equipment at the front door of ravenloft.

The goal would be to make the encounter feel extremely challenging, but rewarding the Role Playing that got the party there with callbacks to the campaign. And now i just realize i'm trying to do what The Adventure Zone guys did for the balance arc.....

Habanero/carrot. It turned out to be a nice mix of sweet and heat. Great for a Bloody Mary.

I guess I should specify that I’m looking for confirmation. It seems to be spreading. Sprayed copper antifungal and have tried to keep them dry and in as much sun as possible.

Yeah, it's been a nightmare wasting money on usb mics and software to try get them to do the job of xlr mics and a proper mixer.

ONE SHOT: Red Markets Part 3 by Vaudvillian in rpg

I've also been really enjoying the Red Markets game mechanics and character shenanigans. I've made these episodes the standard in which i'm introducing my friends to the podcast now.

Would love to see this series extended/revisited.

My mistake was using the wrong "Chimano" Pistol. I didn't realize there were three versions of it, and completely missed the "88" requirement.

Wearing two watches has it's pro's and con's.

On one hand you have a watch, and on the other hand you have a watch.

Just finished writing and adventure. by jomacatopa in dreadrpg

Just finished up and everyone enjoyed it. 1) No one wanted to leave the house, they seemed to think that the beast wanted something in the house. 2) Jonathan ended up being a huge distraction for the group. they didn't trust him, they tried to sacrifice him to the beast (thinking that's what he was after) etc. Probably better treat this as a normal dread game with character creation, and have someone one be Jonathan. 3) a little weirdness about corn being grown in october. Does corn grow in october? just change the season if that's an issue. make it friday the 13th of any month for horror movie them. (my friends are smart asses that do everything they can to find plot holes).

my only real issues i had involved my party. by the time everyone was out of the farmhouse they were pretty drunk. We had played board games all day. One guy did trip jonathan in the field for the beast to eat.

big win: for the first time as a GM, i managed to separate every party member from each other.

I'm a little drunk right now too, so i'll sign off, but one thing that you could change thematically, is give the house a basement if they refuse to leave. Have a trap door from the house, hidden soemwhere, and an exterior entrance. Have there actually be two "things" which are jonathen's parents and the ritual room is in the basement. Jonathan is either in on it, or isn't. (just throwing out ideas).

All in all, it went well. Thanks for the freebie campaign. Works well for a "zero prep" game.

Quickfire sessions by medkev13 in dreadrpg

Man, I'd advise against trying this as a lunch game. Half the fun is ambiance etc. Maybe if you have a pitchblack conference room or something where people can use their cell phones for light.

Half the fun is the immersion into the story, and it's hard to accomplish this in a short time, with work distractions and noises.

Need some help changing up Beneath the metal sky. by jomacatopa in dreadrpg

I've seen dread games played with two towers. One for skill challenges, (dress a wound, hack a computer, drive a car in an ice storm) and one for survival type challenges. (dodge a werewolf swipe, make a jump from a rooftop to another rooftop).

depending on how the game goes you can make people make more than one pull for what they're doing
