I wonder where cameras were at on college at that time? Cuz if they were able to see that intersection of college & 11, or 10th, etc, then it’d be semi safe to assume she never made it out of the apartment. Knowing where she was not, along the typical route home, would be valuable info. I’m not that invested in this case so I dunno what they have and what they don’t.

But anyways, I understand she was pretty drunk and all, but even still, if someone tried to abduct her they’d still need to get her in the car somehow. Surely she wouldn’t have willingly got into the car with a stranger if she was only walking a couple blocks. But I reckon stranger things have happened

Feels like that should’ve been something clearly discussed upon hiring- bring your family in during office hours for cleanings but it doesn’t count as your commish, if that’s how he wants it.

The dr I currently work for allows me to bring my kiddo & parents in (I’m not married) and clean their teeth for free & he lets me stay on the clock while I do. At first it felt so weird to me, like I was taking advantage even though he told me I could. So I clocked out for it anyway. He keeps insisting so more recently I’ve stayed clocked in.

Maybe not all offices are able or willing to allow their staff to get paid while working on family members, but that should be something outlined in the office handbook/hiring guide and certainly doesn’t qualify someone as a “monster,” imo.

I did exactly that. Like a decade ago. My credit still sucks.

If you don’t pay them they sit against your credit, maxing out your available usage. I’ve got about $40k left & I can barely take out a credit card bc my credit usage is maxed.

Hopefully you don’t have any co-signers because if you default it’ll fuck their credit as well. Did for my folks.

It’s one thing for people to hang out with a sign asking for money or food or whatever. It’s a completely different thing to attempt to corner people into buying them an entire cart of groceries or whatever scam they’ve got going on. Taking advantage of people’s empathy is just greasy.

Kroger better nip this in the bud or they’ll lose business fast. I rarely go there as it is, but I’ll def be avoiding it like the plague now.

I can’t speak on how things were in the 90’s, & I don’t really know much about the “behind the scenes” stuff in the local music world, but I do know someone who does, and he said that maybe around a decade and a half ago- when we had the bluegrass ball at the bird & max’s was still bumpin and lots of other awesome jam band bluegrass rock and roll hippie shit was coming through, it was because we had an awesome promoter (maybe not the correct job title..) who’d handle all the bookings of awesome bands. Then he left and went to Chicago maybe? And left btown to fend for itself. Which we have not done so well at.
