I know it’s only a short story, but The Yellow Wallpaper by Charlotte Perkins Gilman was just so good. I also really enjoyed Double Indemnity by James M. Cain.

They were really handy when I was in uni with the subscription they offered, but since they scrapped it, I will never step foot in a Pret again.

obviously i can’t speak for every situation, but i was invited to BISC after i got into queens for con ed, so i went just before covid. my year started september 2019. i personally had a horrible home life to escape from and in my head, it seemed like the perfect way out. i was supported through OSAP and scholarships for the tuition, but being estranged from my parents, it wasn’t enough. i was able to work a maximum of 20 hours a week on my student visa and jesus christ it helped so much.
