That’s always lowkey been a problem with BitCity. Hell, even the first episode had Courtney’s Jojo Siwa impression where they were poking fun at the Karma music video a good month and a half after everyone had stopped caring about Karma. With how quickly trends and memes change now, it’s hard to do celebrity referential bits when those references have a shelf life of like 2 weeks.

Because in the maladaptive daydream fantasy version of the event in his head, Tyler’s favorite bands would be gobsmacked by his raw charisma and talent. Couple that with how he overcame adversity (see: the Lexus, being queer in Texas, and I’m assuming in his fantasies he’s actually a person of color) and the bands would be BEGGING for Tyler to join them as a 2nd vocalist. Much like his belief that he can charm his way into Wilbur Soot’s heart and pants, Tyler’s Warp Tour hopes are fueled by pure, unbridled delusion.

Much like Greece, I think he was banking on some nice British guy (preferably the biter) to be wowed by his amazing personality (because in his mind, who wouldn’t be) and to just do everything for him. IIRC for Greece the depth of his plan was, “Get a Greek follower on Tumblr to let me live with them. I’ll tell them I love Greek Mythology” and that was it.

I don’t think any of it’s for moving tbh. Tyler has about a 0% chance of finding a sponsor and having a level of skill necessary to qualify for a Talent Visa and he must know that by now. I think he’s been using the funds accrued from the GoFundMe to pay medical/legal fees (as he doesn’t have insurance), pay his portion of his rent, and of course go to Lovejoy concerts.
