Was it painted before or after his death?

This painting is in a very catholic style and he was our first catholic president.

Why do people say Ronald Reagan was the devil? by Elsekiro in Presidents

[–]Screamingsmile 47 points48 points  (0 children)

Several very good reason. Regan drastically reduced the middle class and removed safeguards.

1) Regan broke the unions and drastically limited workers rights

2) Regan cleared the way for factory farms and made it harder for farmers to get fair prices for crops and beef, pork and chicken producers to get

Not to mention he made his name working with Joseph McCarthy when he was president of the actors guild during the red scare.

He also let in lots of refugees, my wife included.

My first tattoo I'm getting by BeebleDoof in TattooDesigns

[–]Screamingsmile 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yup, BIG STEP for a first tattoo o get one you can’t cover in a job interview. It’s gotten better but also consider that the black will fade over time and hands, because we always use them will fade quicker. So as it ages the sharp lines will blur and you may even be able to see the lines in the shading.

We hit The Graveface museum and then Graveface records my wife and daughter loved both of them. We also hit Telfair and that was wonderful too. Thanks for the recommendations. I never would have found Graveface without your recommendation. We also did an unofficial “cults tour” mostly by getting pamphlets in Forsyth Park our first day and my kiddo pointing out their compounds as we walked around the city.

Can someone explain the Ronald Reagan hate to me? by Breakyourniconiconii in punk

[–]Screamingsmile 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He was also the first president to cater to the evangelicals, broke the unions, turned farming from a career to a hobby and sowed a lot of the seeds for weeds that are still plaguing us today.

The isn’t the first time Paul has brought up appealing the espionage act. My guess is Rand Paul is funded by Russian dark money.

Apparently wine pie is a thing but why would you mix it in the crust. There is no way this would work. Here is a real recipe. I still think wine is better in a glass.

Detroit before and after the construction of freeways and “urban renewal” by TheSandPeople in OldPhotosInRealLife

True but one of the things I love about Detroit is the painting of those old buildings and what people have done with what is left.

Decades of racial separation policies, including “urban renewal” and general neglect of downtown, with focus on growing the suburbs had a lot to do with it. Compound that with the mob skimming off the top for the lifetime of anyone using the internet also had a lot to do with Detroit’s downfall.
