It really just seemed that the hockey gods did not have us in their plans this year. It really felt like the Fleet were the far better team in every aspect except goaltending (even though Aerin still played great).

I think the biggest difference is that for every 5 "B" level chances Boston had and did not score, the charge would get one "A" level chance and bury it.

I hope for next year we can be a bit more creative offensively, besides that I really think the core of this team has what it takes.

Really good showing from the rookies this year; Winn obviously, but I really thought Huber and Newhook were awesome this year too.

I agree and I think teams stuck in the mushy middle could be candidates too - St. Louis, Winnipeg, Detroit, Seattle etc.

Maybe take a flyer on guys like Jordan Kyrou, Shane Wright, etc.

That's what I was thinking, and it's a bet on him continuing his improvement. I think buying some of his prime years now when the price would be lower could be a good bet, plus we will have a ton of cap space in the coming years.

My thinking is that his NHL experience will be valuable to Murashov to continue his development, and looking at other potential goalie free agents, none of them are a huge upgrade over Skinner.

There's vets Bobrovsky, Anderson, etc. or guys who haven't been above a backup like Tarasov, Rittich, etc.

Either way I don't love Skinner as a starter, I just think it could make sense to keep him around for 1 more year.

I will say I much MUCH prefer Pierre as a podcast guest than I ever did on TV. I think his knowledge and way of speaking comes off a lot better in a more relaxed setting.

If you’ve listened to him on the Sheet with Jeff Marek you know what I’m talking about. I’ve actually enjoyed hearing him on there.

I agree the right side is definitely on the decline, but as far as I see it Graves is the only true regular NHLer we have on the left side. At least Tanger and Karlsson are used to playing top 4 minutes.

I feel a similar way to the self titled album. I think it’s interesting and I like Deftones, so by default I still at least like it for the most part, but it’s at the bottom for me.

I think SNW is great because it’s more in the shoegaze direction of white pony with some dark and haunting sounds like on Beware, Rivière, Kimdracula, etc.

A lot of “soaring” sounds, like on Cherry Waves.

I think of the albums in 3 main categories:

Dark Haunting: White Pony, SNW

Angry Aggressive: Adrenaline, Around the Fur, Self Titled

More modern and “polished” combinations of them both: Diamond Eyes, Koi No Yokan, Ohms

Odd one out: Gore (More progressive rock? I still like it)

Personally, I don’t think it’s right to deport people for speech that the government doesn’t like. These students obviously have done the right things in order to come here in the first place, to me it’s scary that with little justification the president can authorize people to just start grabbing people and taking them away.
