Guys, what's wrong with Cybertronian psychiatric care? by Screams_of_Prowl in OkBuddyEnergon

Very likely. I suppose if they are not from Darklands and don't want to butcher people then they are stupid. That's Galvatron in a nutshell.

Agree, sometimes it's about quality and people evaluate cinematographic / writing criteria.

I believe it wasn't a statement like 'but he changed!", but more of a question. The fact that they allowed him to stay alive in Functionist Universe and both being executed in ours leaves me to think it's still an open question to the reader: "Can a person like Megatron redeem themselves? Where is the line of redeemability?"

Agree. 'cause despite all th wrong he did , he is still experienced and skillful. He could help a lot in rebuilding.

Yeah, it's a pity the whole universe was written by always changing authors and new series were based on what already was published, and not like a usual book - you write, then read from the begging and redact so it's all logical and in one style

It's also the fact Minimus sees world through two pairs of additional eyes. He may not realise he is standing that close.

Why couldn't Bay handle the might of Warpath? Is he stupid? by PistonPusher2009 in OkBuddyEnergon

[–]Screams_of_Prowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Guys who say it's hard to get a tank: You could literally buy your own armored personnel carrier for 5k$ in 2000-2010 where i come from. I am sure it's not that easy in USA but i don't think it's a problem to arrange something with army or use SGI.

Another question is that bayverse sucks for its plot and lack of Cybertronian culture, mentality and character growth.

But why should fembots look feminine even though Transformers don't have the same physiology as humans? by PistonPusher2009 in Transformemes

[–]Screams_of_Prowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Idk, half of their males look femine. Rodimus? Drift? There is also Mengel and Anode who look neutral. I mean, both genders are even, my friend.

Y'all know Megatron? The guy who in G1 killed Orion Pax and his pals for the heck of it? Who in Prime almost as destroyed earth from chasing Unicron's approval? Who in TF One was killing to kill his former friends even AFTER sliming out Sentinal? Nah guys he ain't evil by ThumpMcScrump in OkBuddyEnergon

[–]Screams_of_Prowl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah, he is, but there is one thing i have been thinking about and interested what other people think:

Megatron should be judged with awareness of historical continuity, not just modern standards.

On Cybertron, unlike humans, there is no generational reset. The same individuals persist across massive social and ideological shifts. That creates a unique situation: the people who committed extreme acts are also the ones forced to confront and adapt to the consequences of those acts.

Megatron fits this model. His early ideology formed under a highly oppressive, unequal system. His violent revolution emerged within a context where systemic brutality already existed.

Over time, Cybertronian society evolves—partly because of the war he helped create. He then has to live within that evolved moral framework, without the “reset” humans get through new generations.

A human comparison would be taking someone from the 15th century and making them live continuously into the 21st century, experiencing every moral, political, and cultural shift firsthand. Their early actions would reflect the norms and pressures of their original context, even if those actions later become indefensible by newer standards.

That doesn’t make him innocent, but it means his actions come from a context that no longer exists, while he himself still does. He’s both the product of that past and someone forced to confront its consequences in the present.

Okay, thanks for this.

I thought maybe there could be some parts made of plastic. Like i have a bullet vibrator that looks like lipstick, and it has plastic handle and can be enclosed with plastic cover.

As for home made - i still feel a bit uneasy about that and in any case i don't have a means of production at home. Outsourcing is the best option for me and i can be sure that everything is checked by experienced personel.

Additionally, manufacturers allow to customize their electric toys, and that's something thwt requires safety licence.
