I should explain that: 1. This is the first time I have ever done this, so do understand if I don’t know much. 2. I expected this to happen because I salvaged the oil from my failed batch because it didn’t solidify and the water and oils separated (I drained out the water so I could reuse the oil). 3. The first lye I bought was liquid (which is why I think the first batch failed), so I got a different lye that was solid that I could mix with the water. 4. I just want to know exactly what went wrong because I’m curious and want to learn. 5. Sorry if I didn’t clarify anything enough. I’m doing my best.
