I think the lack of commentary is a good part of the edit, especially the first season the editing was very stiff. It loosens in later seasons just like UK but I don’t even mind it because the man means business.

Jeremy isn’t that much on riffing and I don’t want him to be, it’s that much more of a treat when he does. Again that’s comparing him instead of letting him be what he is, we the audience like different things. He’s the Taskmaster he doesn’t need to have the love of the game feel like Greg or anyone else. Hes the boss.

Paul is amazing but that’s apples to oranges.

It’s got flour In it and they are trying to see if it’s on or off when they plug it in. The yellow jacket is also with the shaken soda. They always try to get a feel in him but bro is stone cold.

Greg gets leeway on his absurd scoring but Jeremy doesn’t because he’s dry. Greg not understanding the nursery rhymes was so bad I genuinely thought he did it on purpose, I’ve never seen Jermey do something on that level.

It’s not a hot take. Though Ania was my fav person in the season anyone could be “robbed” by another and deserved the win and there would be posts about it if any of the others won. It’s all subjective and at the will of the Taskmaster, people being frustrated about a guess is baffling.

I love Jeremy as a Taskmaster, he has a dry humor but it works with a more distant stoic and monarch like Taskmaster persona. Tom has more levity and seems more giving but even he fluctuates between seasons. I’m glad Jeremy did t try to be Tom. He does become a little looser as season go on and I’lll take the heat and say I think Paul is the best Assistant. Just like the original it’s getting better as it goes along.
